Introduction:
We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Associate – Investment Operations, in our Investment Management department, based in Zürich, Switzerland. The key objective of the role is to assist the Relationship Managers in providing support and high level administration. The position reports to the local Head of Operations and involves close and regular interaction with all members of the CRM Team as well as Investment advisors, Tax advisers, Trustee companies, external clients and business contacts.

Senior Associate - Investment Operations

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assist Client Relationship Managers

Administration and record keeping / client reporting / payments

Assistance in preparing business trips, meetings and presentations for clients

  • Receipt, clarification, monitor and process all incoming client orders and requests
  • Process all administrative tasks in regard to clients and respective custodian banks
  • Process and prepare all relevant tax records for clients

Assisting in the quarter end reporting process for management (statistics) and clients (reports, fees).

  • Generate periodical statistics, evaluations and analysis and client reporting

Office administration duties, such as filing and archiving

Point of contact for external requests

Assisting in technology projects (supporting implementation of new etools and software)

Compliance

Lead new client on-boarding process including KYC / AML diligence

  • Prepare for regulatory audits to satisfy requirements from external bodies (Audit & Swiss Association of Asset Managers (VSV/SAAM)

Support the overall risk and compliance management infrastructure

  • Ensure internal databases are up-to-date

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Completed KV in banking or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the financial markets in general and the Investment/Relationship Management industry in particular, preferably experience in a similar position/environment
  • Knowledge of compliance rules and procedures
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • German mother tongue
  • Excellent knowledge of English (minimum equivalent to C1), French and Spanish is a plus
  • Well organized and stress resistant, with the ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Flexibility, good communication and discretion
  • Delivers excellent client service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and maturity to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management within the Group, third party professionals as well as very demanding clients
  • Pays attention to details and is precise
  • Ability to provide support to more than one Relationship Manager
  • Delivers excellent client service
  • Shares information, is helpful & co-operative
