TIm joined the Board in 2021. He joined Caledonia Investments in 2011 and works within the Private Capital team. Tim also sits on the board of Cooke Optics.
Previously, he spent nine years with PwC in its audit and corporate finance divisions. His investments have included Park Holidays, Bowers & Wilkins and The Liberation Group.

Hattie is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager with over 12 years' experience helping individuals and their families.
Hattie is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager with over 12 years' experience helping individuals and their families to structure all aspects of their finances. She brings her strong technical expertise to bear across our client relationships with a particular focus on pension, protection and generational planning.
After graduating from Birmingham University, she spent several years working in financial journalism before joining international accountancy firm Mazars to complete her training. Hattie joined Wealth Planning in 2015.
Director of Group Business Development
Steven is a Director within the Business Development division. He has extensive experience of working in Senior Business Development roles within the asset management sector, most recently at Merian Global Investors.
Prior to joining the Group in 2021, at Merian Global Investors he managed the sales and client relationships with some of their largest UK clients, including Asset Managers, Banks and Regional Wealth Managers. In addition to the UK Wholesale market, Steven has worked internationally covering European, Middle Eastern, Asian and South African markets for firms including RBS Global Banking & Markets, Principal Global Investors and M&G Investments.
Director - Family Office
Doris is a Director within the UK Family Office Division. She has wide experience with UHNWIs and business families, both as a 3rd generation entrepreneur and as an advisor on governance and succession matters. Having inherited her own family business abruptly, without a succession plan, Doris is passionate about helping Next Gens facing similar challenges.
Prior to joining the Group in 2021, Doris was a Principal at Blu Family Office in the UK and worked for Pimco in Germany. She is also a Non Exec Director of her family business in Italy where she is in charge of a Next generation project. Doris is the founder of a network of women in family business who mentor each other, conduct research and publish articles on succession & diversity. She has a Msc in Finance at Bocconi University, is a Member of CISI and CAIA.
Partner - Head of Business Development
Andrew is Group Head of Business Development and has over 25 years’ experience in the private banking and wealth management industry, working with Merrill Lynch, Barclays Wealth and Deutsche Bank. He led the business development effort covering UHNWs, family offices and their close advisors, from both an institutional and private client perspective.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming, Andrew was the London Executive Director of XY ERS UK Ltd, a Swiss family owned MFO, offering consulting and reporting services to UHNW and family office clients and their business interests. Andrew holds an MBA in International Business from Cass Business School and a BA Hons degree in Economics.

Bev is a director Jersey Family Office Division, she serves as a relationship manager to a number of high net worth South African and international families.
Bev joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2020. Prior to joining, she spent 9 years in Investment Banking at Absa Corporate and Investment Bank (previously part of the Barclays group), and 3 years at a boutique Corporate Finance house in Johannesburg. She is a CA(SA) and completed her training at PwC in Johannesburg. Bev holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Higher Diploma in Tax Law and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Corporate Law from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Johannesburg respectively.

Duncan joined the Board in 2019. He is currently Head of Caledonia Private Capital since joining in 2011. Duncan is also an independent non-executive director of Northern Trust (Guernsey) Limited.
He was a founding partner at mid-market private equity fund manager RJD Partners and previously worked at RBS Private Equity and Close Brothers Corporate Finance.
UK Advisory Board Member
Anthony Wreford specialises in people businesses, either as a non-executive or advisor.
He is a former divisional CEO of Omnicom Inc and was latterly Deputy Chairman of Omnicom Europe. Since leaving Omnicom, he has held a variety of non-executive posts (including FPE), been an advisor in the asset management sector, and is the immediate Past President of the M.C.C. He was also a Trustee of Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations on behalf of her charities.
UK Advisory Board Member
Lord Renwick was a senior diplomat who served as British Ambassador to the USA and South Africa.
He was a crossbench peer in the House of Lords until 2018. He brings with him a wealth of board experience, having sat on many boards including Richemont AG, SAB Miller plc, British Airways plc. He is a former member of the Stonehage Fleming Group Board.
UK Advisory Board Member
Natalie Campbell is an award-winning social entrepreneur and broadcaster. She is CEO of Belu Water, the UK’s most ethical water brand.
Prior to this Natalie led on insight and innovation for The Royal Foundation and co-founded A Very Good Company (AVGC), a global social innovation agency that worked brands (Virgin Media, Marks & Spencer, W Hotels and Channel 4) on embedding purpose and sustainability practices. As a non-executive director, she chaired the Nominet Trust and National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) and she was on the board of the National Lottery Communities Fund and UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs, for 10 years. In addition to her role with LEAP, the Mayor of London’s economic action partnership, she is a Civil Service Commissioner, board member of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).

John is Chairman of the Stonehage Fleming Group, he was appointed in October 2019. He currently chairs FTSE 100 company G4S and was Chairman of Amec Foster Wheeler, also a FTSE 100, before it merged with Wood Group. John was Chairman of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity until early 2019 and is a Council Member of the CBI.
Prior to this he was a Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte. In 2008, John was named in the Times Power 100 and as Personality of the Year in the Accountancy Age Awards 2008.
Director - Business Development, Canada
Ralph is Director – Business Development, Canada for Stonehage Fleming, based in Toronto. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the wealth management industry. Ralph specialises in working with families and their advisors across the Americas who often require multi-jurisdictional wealth preservation and transfer solutions, customised to include domestic and international fiduciary structures, sophisticated global investment support, custody, and family office and governance expertise.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2020, Ralph held a variety of senior leadership roles in wealth management across the Americas with Canadian banks and a Single Family Office. This included a 20-year career with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) through postings in Canada, Barbados, and the Cayman Islands where he also served on the Boards of RBC’s Delaware and Caribbean Trust companies. Ralph is a Chartered Accountant (Canada), and has a Masters in Business Administration from The Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and Honours Bachelor of Arts from Western University.

Gian joined the Board in May 2020. Prior to this he was the Head of Julius Baer in Switzerland for 13 years. Prior to this he was a Member of the Executive Board of Bank Julius Baer for 13 years with responsibilities for Central, Northern and Eastern European markets.
Gian brings extensive experience in banking, wealth management and investment management. In addition to Julius Baer, his career includes roles at Credit Suisse in Switzerland and Singapore.

Robert joined the Board on 1 October 2020. Prior to this he worked in professional services in a number of roles for more than 25 years in London, New Zealand and Jersey.
Robert has an in depth understanding of businesses operating in international finance centres. As a Partner, he successfully built and led the Jersey Advisory team for KPMG. In addition he spent more than three years in Jersey Finance Limited as the Technical Director. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and holds a Masters in Biochemistry from Cambridge University.

Nick is a Director within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management. He is co-manager of the TM Stonehage Fleming Opportunities Fund and the TM Stonehage Fleming Aim Fund.
Nick joined the Group following the acquisition of Cavendish Asset Management where he served as a Fund Manager. Prior to Cavendish Nick spent 27 years with Investec Wealth & Investment managing client portfolios and with responsibility of the trading function for the UK group. Nick is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Director – Investment Management
Paul a Director within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management. He is co-manager of the TM Stonehage Fleming Opportunities Fund and the TM Stonehage Fleming Aim Fund.
Paul joined the Group following the acquisition of Cavendish Asset Management where he served as a Fund Manager. He has extensive investment experience, having worked initially as an Analyst for Norris Oakley Brothers and later as a Smaller Companies Expert at R Nivison, he moved to fund management in 1988 when he joined Glenfriars. He then joined Cavendish Asset Management at the group’s formation in 1994.

Liz is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is the lead manager on the TM Stonehage Fleming International Fund.
Liz joined the Group following the acquisition of Cavendish Asset Management. Liz has 3 decades of industry experience. Joining Cavendish after graduation, she spent time working as an analyst before becoming a fund manager. Liz previously managed the Cavendish Asia Pacific Fund from launch to its merger with the TM Cavendish International Fund. More recently, she had taken on a global role as the deputy Fund Manager of TM Cavendish International Fund since 2017. She assumed the role of Fund Manager for the TM Cavendish International Fund in June 2019. Liz is an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Consultant – Stonehage Fleming Law
Michael is Consultant of Stonehage Fleming Law Limited. He is an English Solicitor and specialises in dispute resolution.
Michael joined the Group in April 2018 from Berwin Leighton Paisner where he was a Partner for over 40 years. He grew up in South Africa and is a graduate of Wits University and Oxford University.

Sarah is a Solicitor within Stonehage Fleming Law Limited. She has experience with a range of private client matters and assists the Group and clients of the Group with succession planning, tax matters, trusts and general commercial matters.
Sarah joined the Group in April 2019, having previously worked at a national law firm in Christchurch, New Zealand. She is a graduate of the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand having gained a
Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History. Sarah
is a Registered Foreign Lawyer and a Solicitor of the High Court of New
Zealand.
Senior Associate
Candace is a Senior Associate and is responsible for overseeing the trust administration and client service administration department.
Candace joined Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC in 2015 after having spent the first 8 years of her career at a boutique investment management firm working with institutional and individual high net worth investors. She has a B.S. in Finance from the Rutgers University School of Business.
Director - Head of Data Centre and Networks
Gregory is Director of the IT Infrastructure, Cloud and Security for the Group, he manages the Infrastructure, Central Systems, Network and Security engineers.
Prior to joining the Group in 2017, Gregory worked as a consultant for Gucci Watches, he then joined MIG Investment, an online bank where he designed the IT trading and corporate systems and managed all IT Operations and IT teams. He later held the role of CTO for a network and security managed service provider in Switzerland and more recently Gregory worked as a Cybersecurity Expert for Kudelski Security, one of the largest pure cybersecurity firm in Europe and North America.
Director – Investment strategy & research
Tristan is a Director within the Investment Strategy & Research team, focusing primarily on equity research and manager selection, as well as providing support to the client team.
He previously worked in the Stonehage Fleming Equity Management team for nearly four years where he was responsible for a variety of investment and operational functions, during a period of strong growth for the team. Tristan holds an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Plymouth and qualified as a CFA Charterholder in 2015.

Alastair is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management team, he joined Stonehage Fleming in July 2015 and works within the Equity Fund Manager selection team where he is responsible for due diligence and research on global and regional equity mandates.
Prior to this he worked on the investment team for four years at Mazars Financial Planning and was responsible for fund manager selection across a broad range of asset classes and portfolio construction for private client portfolios. He graduated in 2007 with a degree in Business Maths and Statistics from the London

Thomas is a Director within the Equity Management team, providing client-servicing support to Gerrit Smit, Head of the Equity Management team.
Thomas joined the Group in 2011, having previously worked as a Project Manager at Jabulani Rural Health Foundation. Prior to this, he worked as a Consultant at IQuad Group Limited in Cape Town, consulting on various government-initiated investment incentive programmes. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town and is a CFA Charterholder.

Henry is an English solicitor with over 15 years' experience of advising high net worth individuals, families and trustees on a broad range of tax, estate planning and wealth structuring issues.
Prior to joining the Group, Henry worked at Wedlake Bell in London in their Private Client team following four years at Conyers Dill & Pearman in Bermuda, where he was called to the Bar. Henry started his career at Withers LLP in London, where he practised in the International Trusts team.
Director, Wealth Planning
Rachelle is a Director in the Wealth Planning team and is the adviser to a number of key client relationships. Rachelle is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
She has over 10 years’ experience within financial services and brings strong technical expertise to bear across the relationships with a particular focus on retirement planning, offshore solutions and generational re-structuring.
Rachelle joined the Wealth Planning team in 2015 having spent the majority of her early career working within the Wealth Planning department of two separate Investment Houses.
Director – Family Office
Mark is a Director in the Jersey Family Office Division, he serves as a Relationship Manager to several international Ultra and High Net Worth families.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2016, Mark worked in the banking industry in South Africa and spent a considerable amount in other African countries. He started his career as an auditor with Deloitte in South Africa and spent time with Deloitte in Luxembourg. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of the Johannesburg. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
Director - Business Operations Specialist
Aurelie is a Director within our Family Office Client Support Services Division and Head of the Data Entry Team in Switzerland, responsible for the Group Data Entry Procedures. She is the Swiss Compliance Officer and also responsible for Group Projects, such as DMS, NavOne, GDPR.
Aurelie joined the Group in 2008 and was initially working for the Trust Department before moving to the role of Head of Data Entry Team in 2018. Prior to joining the Group she worked for Fiduconsult SA, a tax company in Switzerland. Aurelie has a Commerce Maturity Diploma from Switzerland and she has also completed the STEP Diploma.
Director – Family Office
Ryno is a Director in our Family Office Division in Switzerland and serves as Relationship Manager to a number of high net worth international families.
Prior to joining the Group in 2016 Ryno worked at a private capital investment business in Cape Town. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Stellenbosch University and then a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) at the University of Cape Town. Ryno completed his audit articles at Mazars in Cape Town before moving to the firm’s office in Bermuda.
Director - Family Office
Valerie is a Director within the Family Office Division and is based in our Neuchâtel office. She serves as the Relationship Manager for a number of families and is involved with Swiss/Francophone clients in respect of Swiss tax matters.
Valerie joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2005. She obtained her Brevet of Accounting specialist in 2008 and her Swiss Tax Expert certificate in 2019.
Director - Head of Finance South Africa
William is a Director and Head of Finance of Stonehage Fleming South Africa. He is responsible for all accounting, budgeting, tax compliance, statutory and regulatory reporting for the South African businesses.
William completed his articles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Cape Town and subsequently worked for both Deloitte and Clarien Bank in Bermuda before joining Stonehage Fleming in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Accounting, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).

Sophia is a Director in the Stonehage Fleming Family Office Division, and is based in our Cape Town office in South Africa. As a client relationship manager, Sophia works with families to ensure that their financial and non-financial needs are met alongside the Stonehage Fleming network of experts.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2017, Sophia was a Senior Associate at PWC and gained experience in the financial services sector, working in South Africa and throughout the African continent. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree with Honours from the University of Stellenbosch and is a qualified CA (SA).

Ryan joined the team in 2016 and is responsible for researching South African listed companies across a host of sectors.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming Ryan gained valuable operational and business experience at Prescient Wealth Management and was also a software consultant at StatPro.
Ryan has a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch and is a CFA charterholder.

Jenny joined Stonehage Fleming in 2011 as Client Investment Liaison Officer in the Equity Management team.
Prior to joining the Group Jenny was an administration manager at BoE Stockbrokers for 9 years. Jenny has 33 years' experience in the private client equity management industry.

Jeremy is a Senior Equity Analyst with over 10 years’ experience.
Jeremy was previously employed by Renaissance Asset Management as an analyst and junior portfolio manager. Prior to that, Jeremy fulfilled the role of a credit analyst at Merchant West.
Jeremy graduated with a B Bus Sci (Finance Honours) from UCT and is a CFA charterholder.
Client Services Manager
Anna joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2018 as Client Service Manager for the Wealth Planning team. She is responsible for oversight of our client service team, processes and procedures as well as oversight of the advice process from draft through to implementation, working closely with Directors, Planners, Business Manager, Group HR, Compliance, Finance and IT functions. She has almost 15 years of financial services experience, which has included roles within Investment Management and Wealth Planning.
Prior to joining the Wealth Planning team Anna worked at Ingenious Asset Management and most recently as Client Services and Business Manager at Tilney Asset Management.
Business Manager
Patrick joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2017 as Business Manager for the Wealth Planning and UK Family Office teams. He is responsible for oversight of financials, risk and control management and change agendas, working closely with Group HR, Compliance, Finance and IT functions. He has almost 10 years of financial services experience which has included roles within Private Banking, Wealth Planning and Investment Management.
Prior to joining the Wealth Planning team Patrick worked at Barclays UK & European Private Bank, Accenture Capital Markets and most recently as Project and Business Manager at C Hoare & Co. in the Wealth Management division.

Alison brings over 20 years' experience in developing and delivering high quality propositions for wealthy clients. As well as supporting consultancy work for some of our more complex clients, Alison focuses on ensuring our delivery lives up to our promise.
Alison joined the team in 2011 having gained her experience in a variety of senior management and consultancy roles including as COO of Barclays Private Bank and Schroders Private Bank. As an independent consultant she has worked for a range of clients from large private banks to boutique asset managers and IFAs.
Assistant Financial Planner
Matt is an Assistant Financial Planner who supports the provision of tailored, holistic financial advice, specialising in investments. Matt sits on the Wealth Planning Investment Committee and is responsible for the ongoing analysis of our core investment portfolios.
Matt joined the Group in 2016 having achieved a First Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia, and is currently working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Financial Planner
Sam is an Assistant Financial Planner who supports the planning team in helping a wide range of clients in areas such as pensions, cash flow planning and investment advice.
Before joining Stonehage Fleming Wealth Planning in January 2017, he worked as a paraplanner at an independent financial adviser in Cambridge for 2 years.
Sam holds a Master of Arts (Cantab) from Trinity Hall, Cambridge and a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute

Ketan is a Chartered Financial Planner, who advises private clients in holistic financial planning, covering all the key areas including investment advice, protection, retirement planning and intergenerational planning.
Ketan graduated from University College London in 2010 with a degree in Economics. He also completed a Masters in Finance and Financial Law in 2011 at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming Wealth Planning, Ketan spent over 5 years building his experience in financial services and financial planning at Lloyds Bank across their Private Clients and Private Banking wealth management divisions.

Julian is a Senior Financial Planner in the Wealth Planning team of Stonehage Fleming. He has over 10 years of experience advising clients across a number of areas, with a particular focus on offshore solutions, retirement planning and asset structuring.
Before joining the Wealth Planning team in early 2019, Julian spent a number of years in Dubai providing fee-based wealth planning advice for non-UK residents from the offshore branch of Killik & Co and also advised high net worth clients while working at HSBC UAE. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.

As Head of Wealth Planning, Susie brings over 25 years’ experience as a trusted adviser to a wide client base of entrepreneurs, Board Directors and private equity professionals. She has developed long-standing relationships with clients, in some instances now advising the third generation of family members.
Susie sets our high standard of technical regulated advice delivery - she is widely recognised in the market particularly in the complex area of UK pension provision. Susie joined the team in 2012 having spent the majority of her career advising private clients from within the professional consultancy environment at City Chartered Accountants Deloitte, Andersen and RSM Robson Rhodes.
FINANCIAL PLANNER
Mark is a Chartered Wealth Manager with over 13 years experience in the industry. He advises a portfolio of private clients to help them achieve their lifetime goals and objectives, with a particular interest in cash flow planning to aid key milestone decisions for clients such as retirement planning.
Prior to joining the Wealth Planning team in 2018, Mark spent his early career with SG Hambros Private Bank, and most recently 3 years with a Surrey based firm of Chartered Financial Planners.
Senior Adviser
Andrew is a Senior Adviser to the Group. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
He served as a Partner in our Family Office Division for over 20 years and was a member of the Group Board, working in Switzerland and London, and helping families around the globe deal with the complex day-to-day challenges of succession, governance and wealth transfer. He currently consults on a small number of client relationships.

Sean is a CFA charterholder, he holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and he is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He graduated with a first-class degree in BSc (Honours) Finance and Investment Banking.

Ian is a Director in our Family Office International, and was previously the Head of the office’s Internal Audit & Compliance division.
Ian joined the Stonehage Fleming in 2001 after working for ten years as a banker in the UK and Jersey for Barclays Plc and two years with the Jersey Financial Services Commission, gaining experience in Compliance and Operational procedures. Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Financial Services from the IFS School of Finance.
Director - Corporate Services
David is a Director in the Stonehage Fleming Corporate Services Division and joined the Group in January 2010. He has over 22 years’ experience in offshore legal (private practice & in-house legal counsel) and financial services, with particular experience in funds, trust, banking, multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters and litigation.
David obtained a combined honours degree in Law and French from the University of Cardiff and a Certificate d’Etudes Juridiques from Universite de Nantes before qualifying as an English Barrister.

David is a Partner in the Family Office Division, he serves as the Relationship Manager for a number of high net worth international families

He is a Chartered Accountant and has over 15 years of experience in areas of finance, accounting and wealth management, having previously worked at leading accounting firms and international banks.

Bernie is a Director in our Family Office Division and acts as Key Adviser to a number of high net worth South African and international families. He also acts as a Director for several non-listed companies and is a trustee of various trusts.
Prior to joining the Group in 2004, Bernie was a director of the Private Trust Division of Investec Private Bank for 7 years and a Partner of Fisher Hoffman for over 14 years. Bernie is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Partner & Chief Operating Officer - South Africa
Johann is a Partner of Stonehage Fleming and is Chief Operating Officer in South Africa. He is responsible for the operating platform and operational support of the Stonehage Fleming companies.
Johann joined the Group in 2013 after working for Kleinwort Benson in Cape Town and PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Cayman Islands. He holds a B. Acy. honours degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and has been a CFA charter holder since 2010.
Partner - Sports & Entertainment
Paul is a Partner in our Sport & Entertainment division, which provides integrated financial advice and administrative support to global sports stars and entertainers. He also assists global families in managing their worldwide affairs and controlling their risk.
Paul joined the Group in 2008 after working for KPMG in Johannesburg and the Cayman Islands. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
Partner - Stonehage Fleming Law
Nigel is a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group. He is an English Solicitor and Head of Legal Practice at Stonehage Fleming Law Limited.
He joined the Group in 2011 from the Wealth Management department at Baker & McKenzie and has particular expertise in international trust and personal tax planning. Nigel qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Partner – Head of Family Office Jersey
Ana is Head of our Jersey Family Office Division, she serves as a Key Adviser to a number of high net worth South African and international families.
Ana joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2002 and was based in our London office before moving to the Zurich office in 2009 and Jersey office in 2016 and worked for Investec Bank prior to joining the Group.
Ana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) and has an Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
Partner - Family Office
Mervyn is a Partner in our Family Office, he joined the Group in 2004 with over twenty five years UK private client experience, including ten years as a tax partner with accounting firm Robson Rhodes.
Mervyn qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant in 1975 and is a UK Chartered Tax Adviser.
Partner - Client Management
Simon is a Partner within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and looks after a small group of large, UK and international client families across multiple asset classes.
Prior to joining the Group in 2002, he worked for Cazenove Fund Management where he managed discretionary portfolios for UK based entrepreneurs and families. Whilst there, Simon completed SFA and Securities Institute examinations, becoming a Fellow of the Securities Institute in 2001. He holds a Business Studies degree from the University of Oxford Brookes and is a member of the Conduct & Treat Customers Fairly Committee.
Partner - Head of Group Enablement
Bob is a Partner and Head of Group Enablement. He also serves as the Relationship Manager for a number of high net worth international families.
Prior to joining the Group in 2010, Bob spent several years in the property financing sector in London with ABN AMRO and Capmark. Before this, he was the co-founder of a start-up communication software company. Bob started his career in the mergers and acquisitions team of Broadview International, a boutique investment bank.
Bob obtained a first class honours degree in Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin University. He holds a MBA from INSEAD in Paris. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Director - Head of Equity Management South Africa
Jean-Pierre is a Director in Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, South Africa and assisted in the establishment of the South African direct equity offering. He has over 15 years’ experience in equity markets and oversees the direct equity portfolio management and equity research process in South Africa.
Prior to joining the Group in 2011, Jean-Pierre was Managing Director at a boutique asset management firm where he worked for seven years as an Analyst and Fund Manager. Jean-Pierre qualified from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Business Science (Finance Honours).
Partner – Tax Advisory, Family Office
Charl is a Partner in our Tax Advisory Division and specialises in Corporate International Tax, families and trustees specifically with cross border trust and corporate structures.
Prior to joining the Group in 2019, Charl held a position as a tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was one of the three founding members of the PwC Western Cape tax department in the late nineteen eighties. He has consulted to a wide range of South African and international groups including several JSE listed companies. His sphere of influence and reputation has extended beyond the borders of South Africa with him being involved in several tax organisations at an international level where he is highly respected. In this capacity, he has also worked with several of our Partners and international colleagues on mutual clients over the past 15 years.
Charl is a qualified Chartered Accountant, holding several degrees including a Bachelor of Agriculture degree (Cum Laude) from the University of Stellenbosch, a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours in Taxation and a Masters in Philosophy in Tax Law from the University of Cape Town, as well as a PHD in International Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam.
Director - Family Office
Richard is a Director of the Stonehage Fleming Group and is the Head of Accounting and Tax Compliance Services in South Africa.
He joined Stonehage Fleming in the Neuchatel office in 2007 after working in London for seven years in the exotic equity derivatives and structured hedge fund products areas of JPMorgan Chase and Credit Suisse respectively. He relocated to the Cape Town office in March 2014 and headed up the Cape Town Family Office team until 2018. Richard is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town and is also a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute.
Partner - Group Marketing
Marguerite is a Partner and responsible for marketing, communication and brand management for the Group as a whole. She has over 15 years international marketing management experience, specifically in the financial services industry as well as within advertising and media companies. Marguerite joined the Group in 2004 and was based in London until 2012.
Marguerite completed a Professional Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in London after obtaining a Bachelor degree in Value and Policy studies (PPE) from the University of Stellenbosch. She also has an Advanced Diploma in Marketing and Advertising Communications Management from the Red & Yellow School of Advertising (affiliated to Ogilvy & Mather World Wide) and an Associate Chartered Marketer (ACIM).
Partner - Client Management
Mark is a Senior Client Director within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is responsible for a number of key client relationships.
Prior to joining the Group in 2013, he was a Director of Buckland Capital Partners, a single family office based in Hampshire. This followed 14 years as an Investment Director and Client Advisor at Rathbones and UBS Wealth Management, where Mark advised predominantly UK based families, individuals and charities. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
Partner - Stonehage Fleming Law
Len is a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group and Chairman of Stonehage Fleming Law Limited.
Prior to joining the Group in 2005, Len was a partner in a large Johannesburg law firm before relocating to the Channel Islands in 1986, where he established a trust and advisory business. Len qualified as a South African Attorney and notary in 1977. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees and a Higher Diploma in Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand as well as a Master of Laws degree in taxation from the University of London.
Partner - Business Development
Hamish is a Partner of the Group responsible for the Business Development and Philanthropic Divisions. He advises a number of international families.
Hamish joined the Group in 2005, after three years at Credit Suisse. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 with Deloitte in their Financial Institutions Team.
Partner - Head of Group Marketing
Guy is Head of Marketing for the Stonehage Fleming Group. He has more than 36 years’ experience in asset and wealth management.
Prior to joining the Group in 2013, Guy led the client services division at Heartwood. Previously he had spent over 14 years at Newton and Mellon, where he was responsible for building Newton’s private investment business and heading asset management sales for Mellon in the US and Europe. Guy holds an MA in Modern History from Trinity College, Oxford and is Vice-Chairman of Governors of Sherborne School.
Director - Equity Management
Tom is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and responsible for company research within the Equity Management team. Specialising in in-depth, bottom up research, he covers multiple companies across all sectors under the single global quality equity mandate.
Tom joined the Group in 2009 from ZAN Partners where he was a multi-asset Analyst and Trader. Prior to that he worked as an Equity Analyst at Sigma Capital having started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Performance Improvement Consulting business. Tom is a CFA charterholder and an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Director - Investment Management
Nicholas is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, he has overall responsibility for both the management of all segregated fixed income and cash management portfolios, as well as the selection and monitoring of investments in third party fixed income funds. He also heads up the Fund and Security Selection Committee and has over 10 years’ experience managing fixed income portfolios.
Nicholas joined the Stonehage Fleming Group as an Investment Manager in September 2013. He started his career at UBS Private Bank in Zurich in 2000 and moved to UBS Wealth Management in London in 2002 joining the Portfolio Management team to manage multi-asset class portfolios. Nicholas holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School, as well as the IMC and PCIAM professional qualifications and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
Director - Investment Strategy & Research
Helen is a Director of Investment Strategy & Research for Stonehage Fleming Investment Management. Helen is a member of the multi-asset investment team where she focuses on research to inform allocation decisions and portfolio construction. She has responsibility for day-to-day management of a number of mandates.
Helen joined the Group in 2008 and has experience of a range of asset classes as well as management of the Stonehage Fleming Global Select Equity Fund. She graduated from the University of Oxford with a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics, after which she spent two years in management consultancy, gaining experience in a variety of industries. Helen has completed the IMC, is a CFA Charterholder and was awarded the STA Diploma in Technical Analysis with Distinction.

Peter is President and the Principal Member of Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC. He assists families and other private clients concerning their personal and investment connection to the United States. Peter is a practicing attorney, focusing on the U.S and international tax planning, compliance and administration.
Peter is a 1996 graduate of Villanova University School of Law (LL.M. Tax), a 1993 graduate of Temple University School of Law and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Peter is admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to establishing Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC and Stonehage Fleming US LLC, Peter was a partner in the Philadelphia law firms Cozen O’Connor and Duane Morris, LLP.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and several bar associations.
Partner - Chief Executive Officer, Investments Switzerland
Andy is the Head of Investment Management Services in Zurich. He is responsible for the team of in total 12 colleagues with all Client Relationship Managers, Operations and support.
Andy joined the Group in 2009, coming from a Belgium financial conglomerate where he was active for more than 12 years. In those days he was responsible for key clients of the Benelux who held their accounts in Zurich. The main activity always has been in private wealth management. Andy graduated at the Swiss Finance Institute in Zurich with diploma work on “IPO - Initial Public Offering - a strategic decision”.
Partner - Head of Equity Management
Gerrit is Head of the Equity Management team, he has overall responsibility for the business unit, along with its Portfolio Management and Equity Research functions.
Gerrit joined the Group in 2008 following over 25 years’ investment experience as Equity Analyst, Chief Investment Strategist and Chief Investment Officer for Sanlam’s International portfolios. He holds a Hons B.Com degree from the University of Stellenbosch and the University of South Africa and a PSM qualification from the Business School of the University of Stellenbosch.
Partner - Family Office
Ezra is a Partner in our Family Office Division. He is a senior member of the team, acting as Key Adviser to a number of high net worth families around the globe. He works closely with Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is a former Chairman of the Stonehage Investment Advisory Committee.
Prior to joining the Group in 2000, Ezra was a Senior Private Banker at the London branch of Republic National Bank of New York (later HSBC Republic). He attained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Kingston University.
Managing Partner
Ari is joint Managing Partner of Stonehage Fleming, he joined the Group in 1986 after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. He has been a key member of the leadership team for over 20 years, directly overseeing a major expansion of the Group. Ari also acts as a Key Adviser to several wealthy families and chairs family councils.
Ari holds a BCom (Hons) and a Certificate in the Theory of Accountancy from the University of Cape Town. He is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
Group Chief Executive Officer
Chris became Group Chief Executive Officer for Stonehage Fleming in 2019. He has an impressive career that has spanned both financial and professional services businesses.
He served five years as CEO of leading fund administrator Ipes, prior to which he held CEO roles at RSM Tenon, the UK accounting firm later acquired by Baker Tilly, and at Matrix Group, a privately held boutique financial services firm. He has also acted as Finance Director for Clifford Chance, a leading global law firm and Partner at PwC, with experience in London, New York and Shanghai.
Partner - Head of Fiduciary, Switzerland
Philippe is Head of our Fiduciary Division in Neuchâtel and the Group’s Fiduciary services in Switzerland.
He joined the Group in 2007 after working for several years as an Attorney at law in Berne and Geneva specialising in corporate and commercial law. Philippe graduated from the University of Zurich in 1996 with a Law degree (Lic.iur.). He qualified as an Attorney at law and was admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Berne in 1999. Philippe also obtained a Post Graduate diploma in Law from the University of Geneva in 2004. Philippe is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a co-editor of STEP’s Trust Quarterly Review. He is also Chairman of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies (SATC).
Partner - Group Head of Operations
Christelle is Group Head of Operations. She joined the Group in 1995 as a Client Accountant and was responsible for establishing the centre of excellence for all investment related operations in 1999.
Between 2007 and 2011, Christelle played an active role to further develop our Banking and Investment related operations until such functions merged with the Client Accounting function in 2011. Along with a team of specialists, Christelle implemented Data Management and ‘Straight Through Processes’ between 2011 and 2012 to ensure our operations becomes more seamless and scalable. Christelle qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Switzerland after obtaining a degree in Economics from the School of Commerce of Neuchâtel in 1995.
Partner - Family Office
Bonnie Steiner is a US lawyer with more than 30 years of experience. She advises families and companies on structuring, succession planning and corporate governance and sits on the board of a number of companies, charitable foundations and trusts. She is co-chairperson of the Swiss branch of the Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a frequent contributor of articles to professional journals.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2010 she worked for PWC in Zurich advising on international corporate matters, was an adjunct professor of law on the MBA program at Webster University and from 2000 to 2010 she practiced law at Schellenberg Wittmer, Geneva where she advised families and businesses on cross border estate planning. Before moving to Europe in 1998 Bonnie was a partner at a U.S. law firm where she practised international maritime shipping law representing clients such as Lloyds of London and the Institute of London underwriters. Bonnie Steiner holds four degrees, including a Juris doctor and LLM in Admiralty law from Tulane University.

Grant is a Partner in the Family Office Division. For over 15 years he has worked with families and their advisers around the globe to manage and deal with their structures and the complex day-to-day challenges of succession, governance and wealth transfer.
Grant joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 1999 and was Chairman of our Neuchâtel office before moving to the Jersey office in 2015. Prior to joining the Group Grant worked for an asset management company in London for three years and for KPMG for thirteen years. Grant is a Chartered Accountant and has a BCom (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Town.
Partner - Family Office
Mark is a Partner in our Family Office Division. He joined the Group in 2014 after nearly 25 years as a lawyer in private practice specialising in international corporate and commercial work.
Prior to joining the Group Mark was a Partner of the international law firm Appleby, and was Head of the Corporate and Commercial Department of the Jersey office. Mark graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, he qualified as an English solicitor and as a Jersey advocate. He also obtained a diploma in French Law (Certificate D’Études des Lois Normand et Francaises). Mark has been recommended by Chambers Global and other legal directories as a “leading Individual” lawyer and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences, particularly in relation to financial services regulation.
Senior Adviser
Andrew is a Senior Adviser to the Stonehage Fleming Group, and chairs the Private Equity Investment Committee. He joined the Group in 2013.
Andrew is also a Senior Adviser to Cinven, where he spent 21 years as a founder and partner. He is Senior Independent Director of The Biotech Growth Trust plc and a trustee of a number of charities. Andrew’s career has been in private equity and he is a former chairman of the British Venture Capital Association and a director of its European equivalent, the EVCA. He is a graduate of New College, Oxford.
Partner - Family Office
Cora is a Partner in our Family Office Division in Jersey and has been with the business for over 30 years. She is a leading figure within the Jersey fiduciary community. She has extensive experience of working with international high net worth families where she has mainly provided trustee and executor services. She is appointed to the Boards of the Group’s Corporate Directors and Trustees. Cora originally joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 1987 and was first based in the Neuchatel office before moving to Jersey. She acts as mentor and has been one of the key drivers behind diversity and empowering females within the business.
Cora has a BA (Hons) degree in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has a STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients and an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA UK. She has been listed in the Citywealth IFC Power Women top 200 and their top 20 Leading Trustee lists for many years; she has also received the Editor’s Choice award.
Partner - Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Mark is a Partner and the Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He serves as a Key Adviser to a number of high net worth international families.
Mark joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2001 in Neuchatel, Switzerland. In 2009 he relocated to Geneva to establish and head-up the Geneva office. From Geneva, Mark also oversees Stonehage Fleming’s Family Office businesses in Switzerland, Jersey, Israel, Luxembourg, South Africa, the UK, the US and Canada.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from the University of Cape Town, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant having completed his professional training with Deloitte and Touche (now Deloitte) in South Africa and the USA. He is a member of SAICA and STEP.

Jacqui is Head of our Family Office Division and Client Support Services in Switzerland. She is also Head of Stonehage Fleming Law Limited. Jacqui serves as a Key Adviser to a number of high net worth international families.
Jacqui joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2000 and was based in our London office before moving to the Geneva office in 2009. Prior to joining the Group she worked for Deloitte & Touche in South Africa in their tax department. Jacqui has a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town and a higher diploma in Tax Law from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Richard is a Partner in the Family Office Division in Jersey. He acts as Key Adviser to wealthy international families and for the past 10 years has assisted clients with their day-to-day challenges regarding succession, governance and complex wealth requirements. In addition he chairs or facilitates family councils for a number of significant client families.
Richard joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2007 and was Head of the Family Office Division in Johannesburg before moving to the Jersey office in 2017. Richard completed his professional training with PricewaterhouseCoopers and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 after obtaining B.Com and B.Acc degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Partner - Head of Investment Management South Africa
Reyneke is Head of Stonehage Fleming’s Investment Division in South Africa and looks after the investment portfolios of a number of our family clients with substantial international wealth. He also chairs several family councils.
Reyneke joined the Group in 2002 as an international Investment Specialist of the then partly owned Asset Management business ACPI TriAlpha. He became Head of South African Business Development and Client Service in 2006 and in 2010 moved from the Institutional business to the Private Client Division, Stonehage Investment Partners. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Economy (Cum Laude) Honours degree from the Free State University and is a Certified Financial Planner with the Financial Planning Institute in South Africa.
Partner - Head of Sports & Entertainment
Stuart is a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group and heads up our international Sports and Entertainment practice. He has almost 15 years’ experience in managing the financial and business needs of wealthy global families with a specialisation in sports and media personalities, acting as an adviser to a number of ultra-high net worth families.
Stuart qualified as a Chartered Accountant after obtaining a B.Bus.Sc (Law) degree from the University of Cape Town. After completing his professional training at Deloitte & Touche in South Africa and the USA, Stuart relocated to the U.K where he worked in Corporate Finance at Ernst & Young. He joined the Group in 2002, spent 5 years in the London office followed by 5 years in the Neuchatel office before relocating to our Cape Town office in 2011.
Consultant - Family Office
Steve is a Consultant to the Stonehage Fleming Group. He celebrated over 20 years with the business as Partner in the United Kingdom and South Africa. Steve served as Key Adviser to a number of wealthy international families for over two decades assisting them with complex challenges of succession, governance and wealth transfer. In addition he chairs several family councils of significant high net worth families.
Steve joined the Group in London in 1999 after working for PKF in Johannesburg, Accounting and Auditors for fifteen years, eleven years as a Partner in audit as well as in corporate advisory. He returned to South Africa in 2011. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant after obtaining his B.Com. and B.Acc. degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

Johan is the Chairman of Stonehage Fleming South Africa and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He is an adviser to a several ultra-high net worth South African families, serves as a director of a number of investment companies and trusts and acts as an independent trustee to various family trusts and public benefit organisations.
Johan joined the Group in 2010 to start the Investment Management Division in South Africa and was appointed as CEO of Stonehage Fleming South Africa in 2013. Prior to joining the Group, Johan was an Investment Manager at Fleming Family & Partners in London. Johan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial Electronic) from the University of Stellenbosch and is a CFA Charter holder.
Partner - Family Office
Koos is a Partner in our Family Office Division. For over 12 years Koos has acted as Adviser, Trustee and Executor to internationally wealthy families within the Group where he has applied his 35 years of specialist experience in the formation, taxation and administration of South African trusts, estate planning for High Net Worth individuals, drafting of wills, winding up of estates and court appointed curatorships.
Prior to joining the Group in 2008, Koos was the National Head of the Trusts and Estates Department and a Director of Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, one of the largest corporate law firms in South Africa. Koos obtained a B.Comm LLB from the University of Stellenbosch and is an admitted Attorney.
Partner - Client Management
Steven is a Partner of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in London. For almost 20 years Steven has worked with families of substantial international wealth advising them on investment governance, investment strategy and underlying portfolio investments. He chairs several Investment Committees and also acts as Key Adviser to a number of client families within the Group. Steven is Chairman of Stonehage Fleming Art Management.
Prior to joining the Group in 2000, Steve previously worked for Ernst & Young in New York after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young in Cape Town. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
Non-Executive Director
Shelby joined the Group in 2011 on the Stonehage SA board and was appointed in 2012 as Non Executive Director of Stonehage Financial Services Holding Limited.
Shelby is a qualified lawyer specialised in banking and finance law. Having graduated from the Law and Business School of the University of Geneva (Switzerland) in 1983 and from Columbia University School of Law in 1988, he has been a partner at Lenz & Staehelin since 1994. He is the head of the Geneva banking and financial group and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences. His publications include a number of contributions and articles on banking law and financial services, hedge funds and private equity. He has served as Vice Chair (2001-2005) on the IBA sub-committee I1 (private funds).
Partner - Client Management
Scott is a Partner within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is responsible for a number of key clients of the Group. He has 21 years of investment management experience and joined Stonehage Fleming in 2011 with a special focus on client engagement and developing client services. He is a member of the Fund and Security Selection Committee.
Scott studied Politics and History at the University of Glasgow before moving into private client wealth management in 1999. After a period at Goldman Sachs in London, he moved to UBS Wealth Management where he helped develop and grow the Ultra High Net Worth business, advising individuals and families on their affairs.

Richard is Chief Executive of Stonehage Fleming Corporate Finance. He has over 20 years of corporate finance advisory and direct investing experience and has advised Stonehage Fleming’s clients on a wide range of corporate finance advisory, private investment and capital raising mandates.
Richard has experience in various sectors including financial services, real estate, technology, consumer and natural resources both in the UK and internationally. Richard qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC before joining the investment banking divisions of Robert Fleming and then JPMorgan prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2002.
Partner - Chairman of Investments, London
Richard is Chairman of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in London. Following 25 years with Flemings in London and New York as an investment analyst and fund manager, he was invited to set up the asset management arm of Fleming Family & Partners in 2000, becoming CEO and subsequently Chairman of FF&P Asset Management Limited.
Richard read History at Corpus Christi, Oxford. He is a Director of Gabelli Value Plus+ Trust plc. He is also a Director of The Dulverton Trust, The College of Arms Trust and the Orders of St John Care Trust; and a member of the Investment Committees of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, The Sovereign Military Order of Malta, and The Dulverton Trust.
Partner - Head of Client Management
Michael is Head of Client Management for Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in London and a member of the Executive Committee. He joined the Group in 2003 as Client Relationship Manager and is responsible for the relationships of many of our large UK based families. As part of his role Michael chaired the Committee which set up family investment vehicles, including that of the founding family.
After graduating from the University of Cape Town, Michael joined the Appleton Group in South Africa, where he became Head of portfolio management. He moved to the UK in 1999 and joined the International Private Client team at Cazenove Fund Management, with overall responsibility for managing the South African client base. Michael is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (FCSI).
Partner - Head of Family Governance & Succession
Matthew is a Partner in the Group, responsible for helping clients develop and implement plans for passing on their legacy to subsequent generations.
A former army officer, he joined the family firm in 2012 after thirteen years as a professional cricketer. He has held various positions within the business, including Managing Partner of Fleming Media and a Director of Ian Fleming Publications and James Bond Enterprises. Educated at Eton, he was commissioned into the Royal Green Jackets in 1985. He has also had a number of external non-executive appointments, including Chairman of AGL Comms, a Director of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and ten years as a Director of the England and Wales Cricket Board. Matthew was President of the MCC in 2017.
Partner - Head of Group Human Resources
Kate is Group Head of HR, responsible for the Group’s HR strategy and talent management initiatives, as well having overall management responsibility for the Human Resource teams across the business.
Kate joined the Group in 2007 and spent more than 10 years as the Chief Operating Officer for the UK businesses before taking over the role of Group Head of HR in 2018. She has over 30 years’ experience in the asset and wealth management industry. Prior to joining the Group she spent 16 years at Baring Asset Management with roles including Head of the Emerging Markets Investment Team and Head of the Institutional Client Service Team. Kate’s career in investment management began as a European fund manager for Kleinwort Benson in 1987 and a further three years at HD International before the move to Baring Asset Management in 1993. Kate has a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Manchester.
Partner – Deputy Head of Investments
John is Deputy Head of Investments for Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is responsible for multi-asset investment strategy and research. He joined the Group in 2001 working initially as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst. In 2005 he helped establish Stonehage Investment Partners where he led investment strategy as the CIO.
Prior to that John spent eight years in the engineering industry working on structural modelling and design before entering the investment industry. He practised as a Chartered Engineer and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering for research in numerical modelling and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Cape Town.
Director - Chief Financial Officer, Investments
Jeremy is a Director of Stonehage Fleming and is Chief Financial Officer of its Investments Division. He joined Stonehage Fleming in 2010.
He started his career at Touche Ross in 1986 where he qualified as a chartered accountant before working for Deloitte in Kenya. On returning to the UK in 1994 he became the CFO of stockbroking firm Foster & Braithwaite and was actively involved in the merger that saw the creation Quilter & Co. In 1996 he moved to Julius Baer becoming CFO of Julius Baer’s London based fixed income and alternatives business and was latterly part of its management buyout team as well as being involved in the subsequent sale of the business to GAM in 2009. Jeremy has a degree in Geography from the University College London.
Partner – Chairman, Jersey
Ian is Head of Group Risk and Chairman of Stonehage Fleming Jersey. He chairs several family offices, is a Director of numerous mutual funds, fund advisory and investment boards and committees and acts as trustee on a number of family trusts.
He holds senior positions on a number of government and industry bodies and consultative committees and was the President of the Jersey Association of Trust Companies from 2014 to 2019.
Ian became a Partner of the Group in 1995 after working for the subsequently acquired Chesterfield Group for 5 years as a Director and Legal Counsel. Ian has Bachelor of Commerce and LLB (Law) degrees.
Managing Partner & Deputy Chairman of the Board
Giuseppe is Managing Partner and Deputy Chairman of the Stonehage Fleming Group Board. He joined the Group in 1991 as Client Manager, became a Partner in 1994 and was Group Chief Executive from 1997 to 2019.
Giuseppe led the transformation of the Stonehage business for over two decades, adding an extensive range of expertise and cross border services, which enabled the Group to become the leading International Family Office in the EMEA region. In 2014 Giuseppe negotiated the merger with Fleming Family & Partners to create Stonehage Fleming. In 2019 he also agreed a substantial minority investment by Caledonia Plc in the Group after which he relinquished the role of CEO and became Managing Partner. Giuseppe graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a B.Comm. LLB. (cum laude) in 1986 and was admitted as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of South Africa. He also qualified as a Chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche in 1990.
Director - Stonehage Fleming Law
Robert is a Director in the Stonehage Fleming Law team and advises international and domestic individuals, families and trustees on a range of tax and trust issues. Robert has a particular interest in succession planning, advising on the long term preservation of family wealth and the smooth transfer of wealth between generations.
Robert trained at Withers and qualified in 2007 as part of the Wealth Planning Team where, apart from a period working in an offshore role, he remained until he joined the Group in 2018.
Group Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Adrian is the Group Chief Operating Officer, he joined the Group in 2019. He has extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer in public, private and private equity backed businesses, including at Ipes, RSM Tenon and PA Consulting, a multi-national, employee-owned consulting firm.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Adrian also spent over 13 years at Lazard, where he was a Partner and Managing Director working in Corporate Finance. He is well placed to lead those areas which provide us with our vital operating infrastructure and processes, thereby further enhancing our client facing proposition.
Director – Investment Management
Riaan is a Director and Portfolio Manager at Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in the Johannesburg office and is responsible for client relationships.
Before joining the firm in 2013, Riaan held positions at Alexander Forbes as financial planner, Absa Wealth as private banker and Verso Investment Services. Riaan graduated with a B.Engineering degree, followed by the completion of a B.Com Honours Investment Management degree from the Rand Afrikaans University. He was accepted into the Liberty Group graduate training programme, whilst also completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Riaan is a Certified Financial Planner and member of the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa.
Director - Investment Management
Hilton is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management division in Johannesburg. He joined the Group in 2019.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, Hilton spent over 15 years with Investec Wealth & Investment South Africa, where he built on his investment experience and developed strong relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals and families, advising on their investment strategies, and portfolios and asset allocation.
Hilton holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Johannesburg.
Partner - Group Chief Financial Officer
Becton is the Group Chief Financial Officer and based in our London office. He has more than 20 years’ experience within the banking and financial services industries, including 17 years in asset and wealth management.
Becton joined the Group in February 2019 after seven years as CFO of Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM), the asset management division of Close Brothers Group PLC. Prior to joining CBAM, he held senior Finance positions with Lehman Brothers Asset Management in London, New York and Neuberger Berman LLC in New York. Becton holds an MBA from the University of New Mexico and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a Certified Public Accountant (US).
Director - Group Enablement
Philippe is Head of Data Management in Switzerland and responsible for implementing various processes to streamline operations.
Prior to joining the Group in 2005 as a Client Accountant, Philippe worked as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Economic Science at Neuchatel University. Philippe received a Master of Science in Management and Marketing from the University of Neuchatel in 2001 and then continued with advanced studies in Statistics from 2001 to 2003.
Director - Investment Management
Paul is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and manages the Middle Office team. He is responsible for Client Reporting operations as well as Pricing, Performance and Investment Risk.
Prior to joining the Group in 2016, Paul spent six years with MASECO Private Wealth, a specialist firm working with US and non-domiciled families living in the UK. He holds a BA (Hons) in History from Royal Holloway University of London and the CISI Global Operations Diploma.
Director – Group Finance
Martin is a Director of Group Finance and responsible for the Group’s management information reporting.
Prior to joining the Group in 2012, Martin worked as a Client Services Manager at a payroll company in Switzerland for ten years. Before then, Martin enjoyed a successful 22 year career in the Royal Air Force where he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant. Highlights of this time include working closely with No 10 Downing Street and liaised as the Ministry of Defence representative with the White House.
Director - Investment Management
Lehani shares responsibility for a number of client relationships in Cape Town and Johannesburg, which includes the development, implementation and management of client investment strategies.
Lehani joined Stonehage Fleming in 2013 initially working as an investment analyst before focusing on client management within the investment division. She has a BCom in Investment Management from the University of Stellenbosch and a Honours degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town. Lehani is a CFA Charterholder.
Director – Head of IT Business Systems
Florian is Head of Business Systems within the Group’s Information Technology department.
He joined the Group in 2008, firstly working as an Accountant and thereafter moved to the IT Department. Florian previously worked for the watch manufacturer Tag Heuer in Switzerland and holds a degree in Information Technology Management from the HEG in Neuchâtel.
Director - Client Management
Adrian is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and responsible for the management of a number of client portfolios, overseeing both advisory and discretionary mandates.
Adrian joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2013 after working as an Equity Analyst for UK based hedge-fund RWC Partners where he was responsible for investment research and analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, CFA Charterholder and Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Director
Rachelle is a Director in the Wealth Planning team and is the adviser to a number of key client relationships. Rachelle is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
She has over 10 years’ experience within financial services and brings strong technical expertise to bear across the relationships with a particular focus on retirement planning, offshore solutions and generational re-structuring.
Rachelle joined the Wealth Planning team in 2015 having spent the majority of her early career working within the Wealth Planning department of two separate Investment Houses.
Director - Business Development
Julie is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Group and Business Development Officer in Switzerland. She is responsible for the development and management of relationships with potential clients and introducers of business.
Julie joined Stonehage Fleming in 2019 and has ten years’ wealth planning and financial service experience. She joined the Group from Geneva Management Group (“GMG”), where she was Vice President of Business Development.
Director – Family Office, US
Darrell is the Director, Business Development, Americas for Stonehage Fleming, based in New York City. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the wealth management industry. Darrell specialises in working with families and their advisers across the Americas and Europe who have international requirements in the areas of wealth preservation and wealth transfer.
His client families often require multi-jurisdictional solutions, customised to include domestic and international fiduciary structures, sophisticated global investment support, custody and family office and governance resources.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2019, Darrell was the Head, Intermediary Relationships-USA for the international wealth management division of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and held various postings based in New York, Houston, and Canada. He holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations and is a member of the Legal Week Private Client Global Elite directory.
Darrell is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Institute for Family Governance and the Canadian Association of Financial Planners.
Senior Associate - Family Office
Brittany is a Senior Associate at Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC. She is a practicing attorney, assisting individuals and families with United States and international tax planning, administration and compliance, and closely-held business succession planning.
Brittany has a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law, and a B.A. from the University of Miami. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and practiced law in a regional firm’s estate and tax planning group. Brittany is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida.
She is a member of several professional organizations including the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and several bar associations.
Director – Family Office
Savvas is a Director in the Family Office Division. He is responsible for a number of international high-net-worth clients, working with their families and their advisers around the globe. Savvas joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2015. As well as managing significant client relationships, Savvas is a key member of the Group’s digital forum, tasked with researching and implementing digital solutions. Savvas has recently been selected to join a pioneering ‘Next Gen Advisory Committee’, tasked with providing fresh solutions around the group’s service offering, operating challenges and talent retention.
Savvas is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW) and holds a STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients. He has a degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming, Savvas was an audit and advisory manager, working for Baker Tilly in Jersey and Deloitte in Cyprus.
Director - Family Office
Sheldon is a Director in the Family Office Division, serving as the Relationship Manager for a number of high net worth international families.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the areas of trusts, accounting and wealth management. Sheldon obtained a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of South Africa and is Treasurer of STEP Israel.
Director - Private Capital
Meiping is a Director within the Private Capital Investment team and is responsible for selecting private capital fund investments and managing existing manager relationships.
She joined the Group in 2018 having previously worked for the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation and HarbourVest Partners in London. Meiping graduated from the London School of Economics with a first class honours degree in Accounting and Finance. She also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Director - Investment Management
Dan is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and Head of the Trading Desk in London. He is responsible for executing orders across the entire SFIM client base and managed funds, across all asset classes – Equities, ETFs, Investment Trusts, Bonds, Corporate Bonds, Unit Trusts, Funds, FX and Derivatives.
Dan joined the Group in 2006, prior to this he worked for Phillips & Drew, which became part of UBS Global Asset Management. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from the University of Loughborough and has competed the IMC.
Director - Wealth Planning
Kate is a Director in the Wealth Planning team of Stonehage Fleming. She brings over 10 years’ experience as a trusted adviser to a wide client base, specialising principally in providing strategic and integrated investment, financial and tax planning to entrepreneurs and private equity professionals.
Kate joined the team in 2019 following over 7 years at Handelsbanken Wealth Management, where she headed up the Private Office – North team. Prior to this, she trained as a Chartered Tax Adviser, spending the majority of her time at Deloitte LLP, London. She holds a Law & Business degree from the University of Warwick and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.
Kate is also a trustee of Envision, a youth social action charity based in London, Birmingham and Bristol.
Director - Wealth Planning
Matthew is a Director within the Wealth Planning Division advising a broad spectrum of UK based private clients but with a particular focus on mid to late career Professionals and Board Directors. He has circa 20 years’ experience within professional, fee-based Wealth Planning firms. Whilst Matthew is able to cover the full spectrum of financial planning needs, he is a specialist in complex pension planning and the use of modelling to help clients visualise their finances and the effects of key decisions.
Prior to joining the Group, Matthew spent 12 years working for the Wealth Planning team at accountants BDO LLP which was sold, via a private equity buy-out, to Thomas Miller & Co a 140 year-old city institution.
Head of Human Resources - South Africa
Tracey is the Head of Human Resources for the South African offices and oversees the HR practiscs and strategies for staff in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Tracey has over 25 years HR work experience through a variety of industries and held key roles with the likes of Business Connexion, Nando’s and the Betterlife Group as well as running a successful HR consulting practice.
Tracey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology & Communication through the University of South Africa, has a Higher Diploma in Human Resources management and a Teaching diploma through Trinity College (London).
Chief Operating Officer, UK
Glenn is the Chief Operating Officer at Stonehage Fleming. His role includes delivering strategic operating and technology platforms to enable the business to offer robust solutions and improved processes for the benefit of our clients. Glenn is the strategic interface between Operations, Technology and Investment Management helping to shape, design and deliver the companies operating model.
Glenn joined the Group in 2018 and has over 20 years’ commercial experience, having worked in lead functions for Schroders, Cazenove Capital, London & Capital and Rathbones. He is Investment Management certified (IMC) and qualified in Investment Operations (IOC). Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree, having studied Applied Physics and Computer Science. He is also a non-executive director for a FinTech start-up and an active member of Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and CFA UK.
Director of Content - Group Marketing
Kitty is a Director and Head of Content for the Stonehage Fleming Group, responsible for generating content to demonstrate our intellectual capital and experience, for distribution to both external and internal audiences.
Kitty joined the group in 2018 from Societe Generale, where she worked as a content editor for two years. Prior to this Kitty worked in marketing communications at Kleinwort Benson and Schroders Private Banking for three and eight years respectively. She holds the Investment Management Certificate and has a degree in Modern Languages and Philosophy from St. Anne’s College, Oxford.
Director- Investment Strategy & Research
Mona is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, she has 14 years experience’ in portfolio construction and manager selection across all asset classes and is a member of the Investment Committee. Mona is responsible for the Stonehage Fleming Global Sustainable Investment Portfolios and has developed expertise in helping clients reflect their values in their portfolios whilst also maximising returns and positive impact.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2018, Mona worked at Rathbones Investment Management where she was Head of Collectives Research. She is a CFA Charterholder and has a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol.
Director - Head of Finance, Switzerland
Corinne is a Director and Head of Finance, Switzerland.
Corinne joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2003 and is based in our Neuchatel office. Corinne holds a Bachelor of Arts HES-SO en Economie et Services and in 2018 she qualified as a Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management from the Federal Diploma of Higher Education.

Michael McLeod is a Director of Stonehage Fleming is the link between clients and our network of experts for all their financial needs.
Michael completed his articles at Deloitte in Johannesburg and subsequently joined Prophet Analytics as a Strategic Consultant before joining Stonehage Fleming in 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree with honours in finance from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Director - Family Office
Darren serves as a Relationship Manager to a number of high-net worth clients, he specialises in providing high-level customised investment reporting packs.
Darren joined the Group in 2004, prior to this he worked as an independent consultant at various financial services companies. His last positon, prior to joining the Group was Senior Consultant in the Enterprise Risk Management Services Division at Deloitte Israel.
Partner - Chief Investment Officer Investment Management South Africa
Bryn is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer for Stonehage Fleming Investment Management South Africa. He is responsible for the leadership and development of the domestic investment offering, including Equity Management.
Bryn joined Stonehage Fleming in 2018 from Old Mutual Investment Group, where he worked in the Customised Solutions boutique as a Portfolio Manager. He was responsible for the portfolio management of an equity fund as well as a suite of derivative-based hedge funds. In addition he was part of the Investment Committee for the asset allocation funds managed by the team. Prior to joining Old Mutual he spent eight years doing structuring, marketing and implementation of derivative strategies and structures for South African institutions and corporates at Investec Bank and Cadiz Financial Services. Bryn served on the Financial Derivatives Advisory Committee for the South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX) for over 10 years.
Bryn is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree with Honours in Accounting, Business Finance and Mathematical Statistics, a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
Director - Investment Management
Carolyn is a Director in the Cape Town office and is responsible for business development and client relationship management.
Before joining Stonehage Fleming, Carolyn held various domestic and international positions over the past 10 years with Foord Asset Management. Carolyn setup their Singapore office and launched and ran the Foord Global Equity Fund. After returning to South Africa in 2014, she was a Portfolio Manager on the Foord local equity funds and managed the research approach and strategy for the South African Investment team.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Business Science with Honours in Finance as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a CFA Charterholder.
Director - Group Finance
Claire is a Director and Head of Finance for the UK. Claire is responsible for all of the accounting, budgeting, tax compliance, statutory and regulatory reporting for the UK businesses. Claire is also in charge of the preparation of the Group financial statements and is the point of contact for technical accounting queries and IFRS within the Group.
Before joining Stonehage Fleming in 2015, Claire worked for 3i, a multinational FTSE 100 Private Equity company, for 7 years as a manager in the Group’s financial controls team. Prior to this Claire worked in America within a top 100 audit firm and qualified as a California CPA. Before this Claire worked for Gordon Brothers and started her accounting career at KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007.
Director – Family Office
Lucy is a Relationship Manager in the Family Office team, working closely with international ultra-high net worth families, assisting them on a range of aspects from their everyday needs to their longer term succession plans.
Before joining the Group, Lucy worked at Deloitte in the Family Enterprise Consulting division focusing on governance and succession planning for family businesses, having previously worked in their private client tax practice. Prior to this, she worked in Prime Brokerage at Barclays Capital. Lucy is a Chartered Accountant and won the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners ‘Young Advisor of the Year’ award 2017/18.
Director, Head of Finance, Jersey
Neil is a Director and Head of Finance, Jersey. Neil is responsible for all accounting, statutory and regulatory financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, audit-related activities and the delivery of various back office functions which provide support and service for the client facing business.
Neil joined Stonehage Fleming in 2007 and has held various roles within the Jersey Office before becoming Head of Finance for all Jersey operations. Prior to joining the Group, Neil worked in the commercial and retail sector for a multinational company in a group role. He is an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Director - Private Capital
Mat is a Director within the Private Capital Investment team and is responsible for selecting private capital fund investments and managing existing manager relationships. He joined the Group in 2009 having previously worked for BNP Paribas in London and State Street Trust Company in Toronto.
Mat completed a BA degree in International Business and Economics at Western University. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
Director - Client Management
Jimmy is responsible for the management of a number of client portfolios, overseeing both advisory and discretionary mandates. Jimmy joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2007 after working as an Interest Rate Derivatives Analyst for a UK based asset management firm in London.
Jimmy holds a MA (Honours) degree in Business Management from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder.
Director - Family Office
Samuele is an Accounting Technical Specialist and in-house Consultant within the Stonehage Fleming Group and is responsible for a number of client relationships.
Samuele joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2000 and is based in our Neuchâtel office. Prior to joining the Group he was a junior accountant for the TriAlpha reporting. Samuele holds a Bachelor of Arts degree delivered by the Graduate School of Commerce of La Chaux-de-Fonds. He is a certified Public Accountant and affiliate member of STEP.

Peter is a Director within Information Technology, with a primary focus on Data and Master Data Management.
Prior to joining the Group in 2001, Peter worked at Old Mutual International for four years and at Standard Bank South Africa for seven years. Peter has also played a wider and technical role with Group applications, process and reporting developments and solutions.
Director – Family Office
Lorna is Director in the Family Office Division in Switzerland and works with a number of high net worth families.
Lorna joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2012 and was initially based in our Neuchâtel office before moving to Geneva in 2015. Prior to joining the Group she worked for the International Renewable Energy Agency (UAE) as the CFO.
Lorna completed her professional training with Ernst & Young (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) and also worked for Deloitte (Ireland) and then KPMG (UAE).
Lorna is a qualified Chartered Accountant from South Africa and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Port Elizabeth and has an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Natal. Lorna has also completed the STEP Diploma and STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
Partner – Family Office
Paul is a Partner in our Family Office Division. For over 30 years he was a lawyer in private practice in Jersey specialising in non-contentious trusts and estates law and pensions, acting for high net worth individuals and families, family offices and private trust companies. He has particular skills in drafting technical trusts and foundation documentation tailored to meet client needs.
Paul joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in July 2018 after almost 19 years with the law firm Carey Olsen where he was Head of the Trusts and the Private Wealth Practice Group of their Jersey office between 2005 and 2016. Paul is a graduate of Cambridge University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1981. He qualified as an English solicitor in 1988 and a Notary Public and Jersey advocate in 2001. He is a long-standing member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Director - Sports & Entertainment
Glynn is a Director within the Sports and Entertainment Division at Stonehage Fleming. He works closely with sports clients and media personalities assisting and advising in the management of their financial and business needs.
Glynn joined the Group in April 2013 after working at KPMG Financial Services specialising in the audit of asset management and international insurance. Glynn spent five years working in our Switzerland offices before relocating to our London office. Glynn holds a degree in commerce from Rhodes University, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has passed the STEP Diploma and STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
Director - Family Office
Rikus Bouwer is a Director in the Family Office division in our Johannesburg office, and assists wealthy families with the managing and co-ordination of their day-to-day and long-term financial needs.
Rikus joined Stonehage Fleming in 2016 from PwC, where he was a Senior Manager which also included a three year placement in London. Rikus holds a B.Com Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Pretoria and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Director - Sports & Entertainment
Tania has spent almost 10 years at Stonehage Fleming in South Africa gaining valuable experience assisting in the management of the financial and business needs of wealthy global families, with a specialisation in sports and media personalities.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming, Tania was an Assistant Audit Manager in Assurance at PWC. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree with Honours from the University of Stellenbosch and is a qualified CA(SA).

Rudi is a Director in the Family Office Division based in Jersey with a specific focus on Business Development.
Prior to joining the Group in 2018, Rudi was a Director at FNB International Trustees Ltd and preceding that a partner in a law firm in South Africa. He has more than 20 years’ experience as an Attorney and more than 8 years’ experience providing guidance on Fiduciary structures. Rudi holds BLC LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria, is a member of the Law Society in South Africa and a member of the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa.
Director - Family Office
Wayne is a Director in our Family Office Division in Neuchatel. He serves as the Relationship Manager for a number of high net worth international families and sits on the Board of our corporate Trustee.
Wayne is a UK qualified Solicitor and prior to joining the Group in 2014 he practiced law in the UK for a number of years. He has a broad spectrum of fiduciary and commercial experience. Wayne has a bachelors and post graduate diploma in Law and is a full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Partner - Family Office
James is a Partner within the UK Family Office department. He works closely with new and existing client families, advising them on their strategic needs and assisting them on day to day projects.
James joined the Group in 2013. Prior to joining the Group, James worked at Deloitte within the capital markets and consulting space and has 15 year’s experience within the financial services industry. James is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Town.
Director - Investment Management
Nick is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is responsible for the management of a number of client portfolios, overseeing discretionary mandates on behalf of high net worth families.
Prior to joining the Group in 2010, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working for Ernst & Young LLP in Jersey and London, specialising in audit, assurance and transactional work focussed primarily on financial services firms. Nick holds a BA (Hons) degree in business with accounting and finance and is a CFA Charterholder.

Anita is a Director in the Stonehage Fleming Corporate Services Division, she is responsible for day to day client services and the design and implementation of effective Corporate Governance frameworks. She also sits on the board of regulated funds and fund manager structures.
Prior to joining the Group in September 2017, Anita worked in the Jersey office of a London based Investment Management Group as an Executive Director. Anita worked closely with legal counsel on a wide variety of transactions including equity fundraising (public and private), M&A activities, implementing and ongoing administration of employee incentive schemes as well as the establishment of structures and their ongoing corporate governance, regulatory and company secretarial requirements. Anita has also previously undertaken fund administration and management services for clients ranging from major investment banks to boutique alternative asset managers, having responsibility for the administration of a group of buyout capital private equity funds. Anita holds the ICSA Certificate and Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.
Director – Investment Strategy & Research
Sean conducts Due Diligence on Alternative Investments at Stonehage Fleming. Sean has 24 years of experience in manager selection and Hedge Fund portfolio construction.
Sean joined Stonehage Group affiliate - TriAlpha Investment Advisors in 2002, where he managed a team allocating over $700m to Hedge Funds and oversaw the development and implementation of the Investment & Operational Due Diligence processes.
Prior to joining the Group, Sean has worked in Fixed Income Research for Lehman Brothers and at Virtue Capital Partners a specialist Consultant. Sean has a degree in Banking and Finance from Cass Business School. He is also a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Deputy Head of Risk & Compliance, UK & Investments
David is a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group and is Deputy Head of Risk & Compliance – UK & Investment Division, responsible for Regulatory Change in the UK, keeping abreast of regulatory changes and developments, ensuring that the Group is not exposed to the risk of failing to implement new regulatory requirements. He has over 25 years of regulatory and Compliance experience and has worked for the UK regulator, for PwC as a regulatory consultant and for APCIMS.
David joined the Group in 2017 following 11 years as a Compliance Officer with the private banking arms of HSBC and Standard Chartered. He has a BA (Law) degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
Senior Associate – Art Management
Denise is a Senior Associate in our Art Management team. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the Art world, working closely with private collectors, advisers, auction houses, galleries, museums, conservators, logistics companies and insurers across the world.
Denise joined the Group in 2017 after working for OmniArte in Zurich for the past 12 years. Prior to that Denise worked as a Registrar at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Foundation in Lugano and Christie’s in Geneva and Sydney. Denise is a member of ICOM and of the Swiss Registrars Association and participates in European Registrars’ conferences with art industry colleagues.
Senior Associate - Art Management
Johanna is a Senior Associate in our Art Management team. She has over 25 years experience in Art Management and dealing with the needs of private collectors, galleries, art dealers, auction houses, museums, foundations and trusts across the EMEA region.
Johanna joined the Group in 2017 after working at OmniArte in Zurich for 11 years. Prior to that she gained experience working as a Relationship Manager at Galerie Bruno Bischofberger, as General Manager at Kunstmuseum Winterthur and Christie’s Zürich and as Director for Galerie de Pury & Luxembourg. She graduated from the College of Education in Schaffhausen and from the Swiss School of Journalism (MAZ) in Lucerne. Johanna has a Diploma in Business Administration.

Caspar is a Director within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management.
Prior to joining the Group Caspar worked at Thurleigh, a boutique asset management firm, where he spent four years as a Portfolio Manager focussed on investment research and managing client accounts. He has an Honours degree in Modern Languages and is a CFA Charterholder. Caspar is on the Board of Governors at a school in London, where he chairs the Finance Committee.
Director - Equity Management
Nicky is responsible for company research within the Equity Management team. Specialising in in-depth, bottom up research, she covers multiple companies across all sectors under the single global quality equity mandate.
Nicky joined the Equity Management Team in 2019 from Bessemer Trust having previously worked at River & Mercantile Asset Management, Neptune and BlackRock/MLIM. She is a CFA charterholder and graduated from Oxford University with first class honours in Physics.

Mark is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Group specialising in in-depth, bottom up company research within the Direct Equity Management team.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming, Mark spent over 9 years at Investec Asset Management where he was a Global Equity Analyst and Sector Portfolio Manager. Previously, he worked at M&G Investments in both Pan-European and global equity analyst roles. Mark is a CFA Charterholder and graduated from Warwick University with a first class honours degree in economics.
Director - Stonehage Fleming Law
Jeremy is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Law Limited. He is an English solicitor and for the last 15 years he has advised high net worth international individuals on all aspects of succession planning and personal tax.
Jeremy joined the Group in 2012 from the International Private Client team at Farrer & Co, having qualified as a solicitor in the Private Capital Group of Simmons & Simmons in 2003. Jeremy holds a Law degree from the University of Nottingham and completed his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Partner – Head of Risk and Compliance
Hamish is a Partner and Head of Risk and Compliance for our Family Office Division. He is also Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Compliance and Reporting Officer in Jersey. He has around 30 years’ experience in private wealth.
Prior to joining the Group in 2017, Hamish enjoyed a varied career creating and leading legal and compliance functions for international banks and advisory investment management firms and a global corporate secretariat.
In the last ten years offshore, Hamish has served multi-jurisdictional, multi service financial services institutions, specialising in risk, strategy, cross- border, tax transparency, governance and regulatory genres. He is a regular public speaker and was invited to set up and chair the Jersey Bankers’ Association Conduct Committee.
Hamish holds an honours degree in Accountancy & Finance with Law; and is a qualified UK solicitor. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is a Chartered Member of the Securities and Investments Institute.
Director - Investment Strategy & Research
Peter is a Director of the Investment Strategy and Research team of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management. His main focus is on top-down investment research across asset classes and markets, as part of the strategic and tactical asset allocation framework.
Peter began his career at Hargreaves Lansdown in Bristol and joined the Group in 2010 as a member of the Wealth Planning team, transferring to Investment Management in 2014. He holds a degree in International Business Economics from the University of the West of England and the CII’s Diploma in Financial Planning, has completed the IMC and is a CFA Charterholder.
Director - Risk & Compliance
Paul is a Director in our Jersey Risk and Compliance team and is responsible for fund and managed entity compliance within the Corporate Services Division, including Luxembourg. He acts as Compliance Officer for regulated Jersey clients and is a member of the Group Cybersecurity and GDPR working parties.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2016, he spent four years with Autonomy Capital, a US hedge fund. He acted as Compliance Officer for the regulated Jersey and London investment managers, and supported the Swiss branch office. Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 2006. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and the International Compliance Association. He holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Kent and the ICA Diplomas in both Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering.
Director - Corporate Finance
Nick is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Advisory with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, investments and capital raisings.
Nick has over 10 years’ corporate finance experience across a broad range of sectors including business services, real estate, luxury retail and logistics. Projects have included M&A, retained advisory, investments, independent business reviews, financial due diligence and valuations. Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2014, Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the corporate finance team of EY, before joining the investment banking businesses of Hawkpoint Partners and then Canaccord Genuity.
Director - Head of Family Office Accounting
Paul is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Group and Head of the Group’s Jersey and Israel Family Office Accounting teams. For over 5 years he has been directly responsible for the Jersey accounting team and more recently the Israel accounting team. He is part of several accounting project groups and technical committees and is also responsible for overseeing technical accounting matters.
Paul joined the Group in 2000 and spent the first 10 years as a Relationship Manager in the Family Office International department. Prior to joining the Group he had worked in several fiduciary businesses in Jersey specialising in offshore fiduciary services. He studied with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and became an Accounting Technician in 2008 and then went on to qualify as a Certified Chartered Accountant in December 2012.

Vivian is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Law Limited.
Vivian joined the Group in 2010 from the Tax Department of SJ Berwin. He is an English solicitor and practices international private client law. He advises UK and overseas families, individuals and trustees on trust, taxation and estate planning issues. Vivian also advises on management incentives and tax-efficient remuneration.
Vivian is a graduate of the University of Manchester. He qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and holds the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates and the IAL Art Law Diploma.
Director – Head of Broking Services
Frank is Head of Broking Services within Stonehage Fleming’s Dealing and Treasury (Jersey) Limited in Jersey. This is a standalone entity providing trading and broking services over many different asset classes to a number of Institutional and High Net Worth International clients.
Frank has 25 years of stockbroking experience having worked in London and Jersey. Prior to joining the Group he was Head of Dealing at Brooks Macdonald International. Frank is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.
Partner - Chief Executive Officer & Head of Investments, UK
Graham is CEO and Head of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in London with overall responsibility for the firm’s investment management business. He is also Chairman of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the Group, Graham was GAM’s Group Head of Investments – Multi Asset Class Solutions and Chairman of GAM’s Investment Advisory Board where he had overall responsibility for the firm’s discretionary mandates and related co-mingled funds. Graham holds Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Master of Commerce degrees from the University of Cape Town.
Director - Investment Management
Thomas is a Director and Head of Operations within the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management business in our Zurich office. He is responsible for the effective operational management of our Swiss Investment Management business, with cross functional focus on investment operations including IT, facilities, risk and compliance, finance, change management and business process reengineering.
Thomas joins us following a long-standing career at Credit Suisse in Zürich. With a Masters in Law from St. Gallen, he started in various client facing roles and progressed to team leader and became a project manager over the time. Amongst others he had responsibilities for the EAM, UK, South African, Middle East and Greek markets.

Eva is a Partner within the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management team and is responsible for a number of key client relationships.
Eva joined the Group in 2017, having previously worked as a Senior Director at EFG Private Bank in London for five years managing a client portfolio of UK based individuals and families. Prior to this she spent 15 years looking after corporate and private client relationships at Handelsbanken and HSBC Private Bank. Eva holds a BSc in Business Administration from Stockholm University and relocated to the UK in 2000. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment
Head of UK Family Office and Advisory
Simon leads our advisory businesses in the UK, which include Family Office, Wealth Planning, Corporate Finance, Art Advisory and Stonehage Fleming Law.
He joined Stonehage Fleming in 2017 as Chairman of Corporate Finance, having had more than 30 years experience advising clients on significant transactions including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, restructurings, and debt and equity raising deals.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming, Simon was a senior Partner in Corporate Finance at PwC, where amongst other responsibilities he led the public company advisory group, the real estate group and the debt advisory business. He has also been an Alternate member of the UK Takeover Panel for many years. Prior to PwC, he was a Director of NatWest Markets in London, Hong Kong and Japan, and was Finance Director of an Australian listed mining company. He is also currently a non-executive Director of Churchill Retirement PLC and a Trustee of the Scar Free Foundation.

Jaco is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and is based in our Zurich office, where he is responsible for international client relationship and portfolio management.
He has more than 10 years’ experience in the private wealth management industry having worked for Liberty Life in South Africa, as well as Barclays Wealth & Investment Management in South Africa, and in London, before joining the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2014. Jamie is a Director within Stonehage Fleming Investment Management with a focus on managing relationships for high net worth individuals and families.
Jamie joined the Group in 2014 following four years at Barclays Wealth where he worked within the Key Clients and Family Office’s team servicing international clients. Prior to that he spent two years at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management where he focused on discretionary portfolio management. Jamie holds a Masters in Real Estate Finance from Cambridge and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Prior to pursuing a career in finance, Jamie spent several years as a professional rugby player with London Wasps.
Executive Chairman – Art Management
Maria is a Partner and Executive Chairman of Stonehage Fleming Art Management, serving a client base that includes individuals, family offices, foundations, trusts and estates.
Maria joined the group in 2017 when OmniArte, a Zurich based art management and advisory business which she founded in 2005, merged with Stonehage Fleming. Maria is also a Trustee of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and serves as a member of the board of Advisers of the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Florence.
Prior to establishing OmniArte, Maria was gallery Director of the Villa Favorita in Lugano (Thyssen-Bornemisza collection), has organised exhibitions for the Museum of Applied Arts in Frankfurt and taught museum management at the University of Genoa.
Director - Tax Advisory
Elana is a Director in our Tax Advisory Division, and specialises in advising high net worth individuals, families and trustees on a broad range of tax, estate planning and structuring issues. She has more than 10 years of experience in the formation, taxation and administration of South African trusts and estate planning.
Prior to joining the Group in 2008, Elana held positions as an Article Clerk and later as an Associate at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inc. Elana obtained her BAcc LLB from the University of Stellenbosch and is an admitted Attorney.
Partner - Head of Family Office, Zurich
Caroline is Head of our Family Office division in Zurich, she serves as the Relationship Manager for a number of high net worth international families.
Prior to joining the Group in 2004 Caroline worked for four years as a Financial Analyst in San Francisco for a venture capital firm and a valuation firm. Caroline is a CFA Charterholder and she obtained a Master’s degree from the Toulouse Business School in France with a major in Banks and Financial Markets.
Partner - Head of Family Office, Neuchâtel
Johan is a Partner within the Stonehage Fleming Group and is Head of our Family Office Division in Neuchâtel . He serves as Relationship Director and Adviser to a number of high net worth international families.
Johan joined the Group in 2007 after having worked in Specialised Finance at Nedbank in South Africa. Prior to that Johan was in private practice after completion of his professional training. Johan is a qualified Chartered Accountant holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pretoria. He is a member of SAICA.
Director - Investment Management
Eran is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management division in Cape Town. He joined the Group in 2017.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming, Eran was a Wealth Manager at Moore Stephens where he built up a strong network in respect of integrated financial planning, estate planning, insurance and risk management as well as investment, retirement and tax planning. Eran also previously worked in private equity as well as corporate broking services and portfolio management for Investec and Sanlam respectively.
Eran holds a B.Com degree and an Honours in Investment Management. He also holds an MBA from UCT’s Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and holds an Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration.

Mike is a Partner and Head of Family Office, Canada where he serves as a Key Adviser to a number of ultra high net worth families globally, and leads Stonehage Fleming’s North American Business Development Team. His experience in both living and working on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean allows him to bring the right resources and practical wisdom to help international families manage their wealth and protect their legacy for this generation and those to come.
Mike joined Stonehage Fleming in April 2017 in Toronto, following a 30 year career with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as an executive leading international wealth management businesses across the Americas, United Kingdom, and other key geographies through career postings in Canada, Barbados, Bahamas, United States, and the United Kingdom. Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Ottawa, and served on the Canada – UK Chamber of Commerce as Vice President and Board of Directors member between 2012 – 2015.
Head of Family Office Middle East and Africa
Layve Rabinowitz is Head of Family Office Middle East and Africa. Layve also serves as an adviser to a number of ultra high net worth South African families.
Layve joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2015. Prior to this Layve spent several years gaining experience at Investec Bank in Private Client Investment Banking after completing his accounting articles at Investec Bank Limited and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2010. Layve obtained a B.Com (Finance) degree and Higher Diploma of Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand. He also completed his CFA in 2011. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and a CFA charterholder.

David is a Partner of Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC. He assists individuals and families regarding United States tax planning, closely-held business succession planning, and planned charitable giving. David is a practicing attorney, focusing on U.S and international tax planning, administration and compliance.
David joined Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC in 2016 after practicing law at Morgan Lewis LLP, Duane Morris LLP and a regional estate and tax planning firm. Before practicing law David held positions in sales and operations management for an international consumer-product company and served as an active-duty infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993. He holds a J.D. from the Temple University School of Law (2001), an M.B.A. from the Temple University School of Business (1997), and a B.S. from the University of Maryland (1989). David is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and several bar associations.
Director - Group Finance
Neill is a Director within Group Finance, where he heads up the department’s Projects and Planning function. His role’s primary objective relates to department quality and efficiency management though system/process review, change and implementation.
Prior to joining the Group, Neill worked for 6 years in a private accountancy practice, specialising in financial and management accounting and system and process design and implementation. In 2007 he joined the Cape Town offices of Stonehage Fleming in order to establish and run the Finance function for the Group’s South African companies. This primarily local role soon evolved into a wider Group role and after 6 years in this position he moved to his current position in Neuchâtel.

Rebecca is a Director in the Family Office Division.
She joined the Group in 2007 after working for ten years in the UK as a personal tax adviser. Rebecca qualified as a UK Chartered Tax Adviser in 2000, and holds a BA (Hons) in Taxation and Revenue Law.

Prue is a Director in the Family Office Division.
She joined the Group in 2002 in our London office, having previously worked in private practice in Australia. Prue then relocated to our Neuchatel office where she was responsible for the Accounting Department looking after Jersey based clients until she joined our Family Office Division in 2004. Following 11 years in Neuchatel, Prue has recently relocated to our Jersey office. Prue graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Banking and International Finance, both from the Flinders University of South Australia.
Director - Shareholder Services
Kieren is a Director of Stonehage Fleming and manages the Stonehage Fleming Shareholder Services, the Group’s investor services department and is involved in Group projects.
Kieren joined the Group in London in 1998 in our London office before relocating to our Jersey office in 2009. Prior to this he worked at Price Forbes in South Africa. Kieren graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with Bachelor of Arts and LLB degrees.

Karen is a Director in the Family Office Division in Jersey and acts on the Board of the Jersey Corporate Directors and Trustees.
She joined the Group in 2004 and has over twenty five years’ experience in Jersey’s finance industry, having worked in all areas of fiduciary. Karen is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Alexander is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and responsible for the management of a number of client portfolios, overseeing both advisory and discretionary mandates.
Prior to joining the Group in 2010, he qualified as a UK solicitor, working for a US law firm both in London and Berlin, specialising in cross-border M&A transactions and capital markets, after which he joined an investment banking firm, specialising in the forest products, packaging and renewable energy industries. Alexander holds a LL.B (Hons) from the University of Exeter and a LL.M (German and International Law) from the Humboldt University, Berlin. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2008 and is a CFA Charterholder.
Partner – Head of Investments Switzerland
Pawel is Head of Investments at Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in Zurich, Switzerland. He is Chairman of the Suisse CIO Group and is responsible for multi-asset investment strategy and research. He joined the Group in 2008 working initially as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst, before assuming responsibility for the overall investment team end of 2014.
Prior to that he worked as an Investment Analyst and Consultant at Towers Watson where he provided investment advice and executed manager research for pension schemes in Switzerland. Pawel graduated with a master degree in Business Administration from University of Zurich. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Stonehage Fleming Investment Management (Suisse) AG.
Director - Investment Management
Seán is a Director of Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and manages the Fund Administration team. He joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2014 to establish a team responsible for the oversight and administration of all the company’s funds, including both onshore and offshore funds.
Prior to joining the Stonehage Fleming Group, Seán worked with HSBC Securities Services across several locations and was responsible for the oversight of a global portfolio of Business Optimisation projects with respect to Fund Services. He has 10 years’ experience in the funds industry and has a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) from the University of Limerick, majoring in Economics and Finance.
Partner – Head of Family Office, London
As Head of our UK Family Office, Roelof has extensive experience of managing the worldwide interests of wealthy families and individuals. His involvement spans the whole spectrum of his clients’ affairs, including their business activities, wealth management, property, art collections and philanthropy, often conducted through a number of different structures, across several jurisdictions. He is typically involved across two or more generations, with particular emphasis on long-term risk management and promoting collaborative decision making through good family governance.
Roelof joined the Group in 2012 from Deutsche Bank in London. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) Degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
Director, Head of Human Resources, Jersey & Luxembourg
Mary is a Director within the Stonehage Fleming Group and Head of Human Resources for Jersey and Luxembourg and is based in Jersey.
Prior to joining the Group in 2010, Mary worked in medium and large global corporate HR environments supporting Fiduciary, Investment, Banking and Funds businesses. During her career, Mary took time out of HR to head up the Business Management Team of the largest Corporate Employee and Executive Services business in Jersey. Mary holds a post-graduate Degree in Human Resources, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and is a recognised ACAS Accredited Workplace Mediator.
Director - Head of Human Resources, Switzerland
Martine is a Director of the Stonehage Fleming Group and is Head of Human Resources in Switzerland. She also supports the Israel and the US offices. Martine joined the Group in 2011.
Prior to joining the Group Martine held various roles with HR, including working in Chicago, IL, for 6 years, then in Germany and Austria, and France. Martine is tri-lingual and has Masters’ degrees in Economics and Human Resources from the European Business School (Frankfurt, London and Paris) and the University Robert Schuman of Strasbourg. She is an IMD alumni (Lausanne) and member of “HR Neuchâtel”, an association of HR Directors and Managers and she is a certified trainer.
Director - Family Office
Charlie Willcox is a Director of Stonehage Fleming and the Group’s US FATCA and CRS Subject Matter Expert. He led the project to implement the Automatic Exchange of Information (“AEoI”) regimes across the global Group and continues to be responsible for ensuring that the Group remains fully compliant at all times, on an ongoing basis. In addition, he now also heads up the in-house AEoI Consultancy Service, available to Group and non-Group clients alike.
Charlie has over 40 years of experience in financial services and joined the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2006, based initially in London, before moving to Switzerland in 2009 to take up the role of Compliance Officer for the Swiss businesses of the Group. Prior to this he worked at the UK Financial Services Authority for five years where he was responsible for the supervision of Corporate Finance and small Asset Management firms.
Partner - Head of Wealth Planning
As Head of Wealth Planning, Susie brings over 25 years’ experience as a trusted adviser to a wide client base of entrepreneurs, Board Directors and private equity professionals. She has developed long-standing relationships with clients, in some instances now advising the third generation of family members.
Susie sets our high standard of technical regulated advice delivery - she is widely recognised in the market particularly in the complex area of UK pension provision. Susie joined the team in 2012 having spent themajority of her career advising private clients from within the professional consultancy environment at City Chartered Accountants Deloitte, Andersen and RSM Robson Rhodes.
Partner - Wealth Planning
Will brings over 30 years’ experience in investment and wealth management to this role. He advises a portfolio of clients predominantly from a legal or financial background across their financial affairs.
Prior to joining the team in 2012 Will spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs where he founded and ran the Small & Medium capitalised companies business unit within the Equities Division. Will was also responsible for major institutional relationships within the Equities Division. Before Goldman Sachs, Will was a Convertible Bond Trader at Morgan Stanley. Will holds an MA in Law from Queens’ College, Cambridge.
Director - Head of Art Management
Georgina is a Director and Head of Stonehage Fleming Art Management, providing fiduciary art management services to some of the world’s finest art collections. She works closely with clients and their Key Advisers across the globe and has a strong relationship with the leading auction houses and art dealers, as well as a broad network of galleries, museums, artists, conservators, logistics companies and insurers. Georgina, together with clients, travels to all major art fairs and art auctions, keeping abreast of developments and trends in the art market.
Georgina joined the Group in 2007 after previously working for Lord Foster at Foster + Partners. She graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MA in Art History. Georgina is a member of PAIAM and participates in panel discussions on the art market with art industry colleagues.
Director - Business & Tax Manager - Family Office, US
Jeff joined Peter Rosenberg & Partners LLC in December 2011 as a Tax Manager. He is responsible for supervising all aspects of the tax and accounting services provided to clients and the financial and operational activities of the firm.
Prior to joining Peter Rosenberg & Partners, Jeff spent the first eight years of his career in public accounting, providing tax, financial and business consulting services to a varied clientele. After public accounting he held CFO and COO positions with firms primarily in the Wealth Management and Family Office industries.
Jeff graduated from Rutgers University in 1990 with a B.S. in Accounting and attained his public accounting certification in 1992.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Director - Family Office
Frank is a Director in the Family Office division, he serves as the Relationship Manager for a number of high net worth international families.
Frank joined the Group in 2008 following 8 years as an Investment Manager and Financial Controller at IKANO, a single Family Office based in Luxembourg. Prior to this Frank worked for 3 years at Deloitte Luxembourg, and 3 years at Deloitte Cape Town.
Frank qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town. Prior to this he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Natal in 1984.
Partner - Group Chief Technology Officer
Nicholas is a Partner and the Chief Technology Officer for the Stonehage Fleming Group.
He joined the Group in 2006, firstly working for TriAlpha Investment Advisors in London as a Financial Analyst and thereafter Stonehage in Switzerland heading up the Client Reporting Division. Nicholas previously worked at JO Hambro Capital Management in London after completing his professional training with Moores Rowland Chartered Accountants. Nicholas qualified as a Chartered Accountant holding a BCom and LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch and a BCom (Hons) degree from the University of Natal.
Director - Internal Audit
Nick is a Director of the Stonehage Fleming Group and responsible for Group Internal Audit, where he aims to add value by evaluating and improving risk management, control and governance processes.
Prior to joining the Group in 2010, Nick worked at HBOS for eleven years, where he was responsible for Internal Audit for the International Division and also managed the back office and project audit functions. He also spent a number of years working in the public sector, gaining a broad range of experience in areas such as internal audit, systems analysis and project management. Nick qualified as an internal auditor in 1997 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.
Director - Corporate Services
Peter is the Chief Operating Officer of our Corporate Services Division in Luxembourg. He has more than 15 years of experience in the finance industry having worked in various jurisdictions during that time.
Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2008, Peter worked for a large offshore services provider in Jersey. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of London, and holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the West of England. Peter re-located to Luxembourg from Jersey in 2011 to set-up the Luxembourg office.
Partner - Investment Management
Guy is a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group. He heads the Investment Management business of the Group’s Jersey office and has over 30 years’ experience in the investment and wealth management sector.
Prior to joining the Group in 2007 he was Business Development Director with HSBC Investments and has also worked in the Trust, Private Banking, Investment Management and Insurance industries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Guy obtained a BA (Honours) in Economics followed by a range of professional qualifications and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Partner - Head of Treasury Services
Graeme is Head of Treasury Services and has overall responsibility for the Deal Execution and Treasury desk in Jersey and Stonehage Fleming Dealing and Treasury Services (Jersey) Limited’s custody, cash management and deal execution offering in Jersey.
Prior to joining the Group in 2005, Graeme was an Interbank FX trader with a large South African bank operating out of Johannesburg, Zurich and London.
Graeme is an Individual Registered listed Securities and Financial Derivatives Representative granted by Securities and Futures Authority in the UK and also a South African FSB approved Key Individual and Authorised Representative.
Senior Partner, Family Office
Anton is a Senior Partner in our Family Office business in the UK. He acts as a Key Adviser to a number of ultra high net worth international families, having previously run a number of the Stonehage Fleming Group’s business units.
Anton joined the Group in 2002 following 10 years as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch, Hambros Bank and Charterhouse Bank, working in international corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in London and in Frankfurt. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Town.
