Xavier is a successful entrepreneur who lives in North America with his family. He runs a successful technology company that has recently expanded into Europe. He is now looking to diversify his asset portfolio and was introduced to the Stonehage Fleming Investment Management team in London by our Jersey Family Office team.

• Investing in a multi-asset asset class portfolio consisting primarily of liquid assets
• Exposure to private capital funds due to Xavier’s interest and understanding of private businesses
• An introduction to Richard Hill, CEO of Stonehage Fleming Corporate Finance to investigate opportunities to invest directly in private businesses through the corporate finance team
• Hosting Xavier’s children on our Next Generation Programme

Outcomes (To Date)

• The portfolio was originally seeded with GBP 3m circa 18 months ago. The portfolio has had regular inflows due to the success of Xavier’s business and is now valued at circa GBP 15m
• Quarterly meetings in order to update Xavier on performance and market outlook. This has been particularly important given the current market volatility.
• Xavier’s children have both attended the Next Generation Programme and have provided very positive feedback
