2023 Family Investment Conference

We are delighted to be hosting our annual Family Investment Conference on Wednesday 8th November.

The backdrop to this year’s event needs no introduction. The existential threat that initially accompanied the Covid-19 pandemic may have receded – the door, however, has been left wide open to the return of many of our legacy economic and political challenges to which no vaccine exists. Climate change, the conflict in Ukraine, economic slowdown in China, the US Election and the dawn of AI are just some of the uncertainties which investors will need to comprehend and assess as we make our way through the years ahead. We will be joined by a select group of specialists to help us make sense of the future and to highlight some of the opportunities and challenges it will present.

Reflecting the broader advisory role we play for families and wealth creators, our annual conference will also mark the formal launch of our most recent proprietary research and thought leadership based around the Four Pillars of Capital. Nearly 300 of our clients and friends of the firm have provided their insights on the challenge of sustaining wealth across the generations, and we think you will find the results well worthy of examination. In response to feedback from prior years about topics that you would like to see on the agenda, we will also have a focused session on philanthropic impact, also a key theme emerging from the report.

Our guest speaker is the acclaimed venture capitalist Dame Kate Bingham – possibly most well known for her astoundingly impressive leadership of the UK Government Vaccine Taskforce in 2020. Her reflections on that crisis, and what it might mean for the future, promise to be both insightful and provoking.
