Tax considerations when acquiring and holding UK residential property

Over the years, the UK has seen several changes to the taxation of UK residential property held by non-residents, and structures set up by UK residents who are not domiciled in the UK. This has implications for the way in which non-UK residents and non-doms might choose to structure investment into UK residential property, and also reorganise existing structures.

Rupert Clarey and Jaco van Zyl will discuss everything you need to know about UK residential property taxation. Of particular interest will be areas where non-UK residents make errors giving rise to unexpected UK tax charges.
