When the world is in crisis, how do you adapt, react and create meaningful impact?

The world population is currently around 7.5 billion and there is enough food produced every day to feed 10 billion people, yet so many go hungry every day because the food just doesn’t get to those who need it the most. In this webinar, you will hear how a former airline CEO was motivated to address this imbalance when he saw so many airline meals go to waste.

Gidon Novick is the Chairman of SA Harvest which, before the lockdown was announced in South Africa, supplied 5 000 meals per week to South Africans in need, which increased to 80 000 meals per week during lockdown. As founder of low cost airline, Kulula.com, the SLOW Lounge Concept and Lucid Ventures, a 12J fund that invests in beautiful boutique hotels, Gidon understands all too well the challenges faced by industry sectors that have been most severely affected by the current COVID19 crisis. He will also share his insights on how these industries need to adapt and react to the COVID crisis and how to spot new opportunities like a brand new airline....
