In 1980 Francois van Niekerk established an IT company, Infotech, with less than R1000 in capital. Within nine months, the company ran out of capital, facing bankruptcy and Francois and his team were led on a journey that taught them many valuable lessons.
From these humble beginnings, Francois and the Mergon team went on to establish several successful businesses in partnership with like-minded entrepreneurs. In this talk, Francois will take us through this journey - a testimony of how he was brought to his knees and how the closeness with failure gave him the strength and experience to eventually reach success on a global scale.
