Isle of Man office adds breadth and depth to our client offering
Stonehage Fleming’s newly acquired Isle of Man office is key to meeting the ever-evolving needs of our international client base, according to Chief Executive, Chris Merry. “We are driven by clients: both by what they need now and what they will need in the future”, he told guests at a party this week, hosted by Isle of Man Managing Partner, Colin Bird, to celebrate the new office in the British Crown Dependency. “This new office embodies that commitment and adds to the services we offer”, he added.
The drive to help families as their most trusted adviser starts with identifying their purpose, explained Chris. “As a family office, we think about things holistically and consider everything our clients need and aspire to. It all centres on purpose”, he said. “After we have established what and how the family ‘thinks’, we can start to understand other issues such as intergenerational succession. Only then can we move on to implementation, be it fiduciary, investment or a combination of both”.
