Over the last 10 or 20 years,
the world has changed quite a bit for families.
The world has become increasingly complex.
We've had a lot of new global legislation
and regulations that have come into force.
We've got fatca, CRS, uh, beneficial ownership registers.
And so our families
who have become increasingly international are having
to deal with a lot of day-to-day complexity.
And so I think what we find is that a lot
of our time is spent assisting families with ensuring
that there is consistency around the way they report,
the way they deal with certain issues,
and making sure that that complexity doesn't affect their
long term strategic intent,
and that it doesn't derail what the family aspires
to achieve over the long term families
as they have become increasingly international.
We typically would see a family
that had originated on one continent in one country,
children or relatives have moved to different continents,
different jurisdictions.
And so what you end up is with the spider's web
of complexity across the globe that you have to deal
with from a planning and ongoing maintenance perspective.
And a lot of what we would do to support
that family is essentially distill
that complexity into very simple message
and make sure that the family remain on track.
