We often encounter what seemed to be innocuous, uh,
issues at first, such as a child
or grandchild moving to the US as an example.
And that immediately in our mind triggers a thought process
around what risks does this represent to the family.
And whilst initially we would seek legal advice
to understand the implications, and,
and part of our job as a family office is to coordinate
that legal advice and be watching out for these
life events as they happen.
But then once that initial legal advice is received
and we understand exactly
what the immediate implications are,
our role on an ongoing basis to make sure
that those implications are managed
and that whatever the advice has been for us to do is,
is then performed on an ongoing basis.
