Well, apart from its role as a conci
and uh, being able to manage the, the softer, uh, issues
with, with families, of course the legal
and regulatory framework has evolved rapidly with the pace
of change accelerating over the last few years.
The rules around transparency, the increased regulation
trustees have to keep up with these changes.
They have to understand the purpose
of these legislations
and regulations, how they interact with each other
in the various jurisdictions concerned,
and be able to bring in the right advisors
and ask the right questions to make sure
that the structures, uh,
under administration are still fit for purpose.
And another revolution is the increasing international
reach of families.
Families are increasingly mobile.
The ways in which families are constituted,
the family models are also evolving.
And we have to deal
with this added complexity both from the nature
of the relationships
and the places, uh, where the persons are living.
And that is, of course, a very interesting challenge for us.
