Charity votes for Stonehage Fleming for the second year running
Stonehage Fleming were delighted to be recognised for the second year running as ‘Mentor Team of the Year’ at Envision’s 2020 virtual graduation celebration in June. Eight colleagues from across the firm volunteered their time during a 13-week programme. They participated in practical learning sessions with students from Cardinal Pole School in London, covering soft skills such as communication, teamwork and determination.
Envision are a social mobility charity based in London, Birmingham and Bristol who aim to develop young people’s employability through social action. Stonehage Fleming have been business partners of Envision since 2017.

Jack Henderson, Senior Associate in our Family Office division and business mentor said: “Developing skills such as creative thinking and teamwork is a vital stepping stone towards building a successful career. It has been hugely rewarding to see the progress students have made. We were really impressed with their determination to support their communities despite the challenges lockdown presented”.
“Envision supports young people to develop employability skills by tackling real-life social problems,” added Programme Coordinator Alastair Spray. “The confidence the Stonehage Fleming’s business mentors have inspired in the team from Cardinal Pole School over the course of the last year has been amazing to see - they were a huge help to them throughout the competition”.
