stonehage fleming investment management - Private Capital

Private Capital

Private capital is an asset class with which Stonehage Fleming has a long and productive history, having committed more than *$1 billion to over 100 funds since 2001. A program of annual global funds provide access for families to leading private equity managers in high-performing market segments. The Private Capital investment team has a targeted approach of investing in well-established mid-market buyout, growth equity and venture capital strategies. Underpinning the approach is the belief that small and mid-sized businesses have multiple growth levers, with the mid-market providing a vast, highly fragmented pool of opportunities for private equity managers.

The Annual Vintage Programme has been specifically tailored for families to access top-performing managers with accelerated deployment of capital and minimal administrative burden. We guide families to pace themselves through the economic cycle by committing to a series of global annual funds as they work towards building a sustainable and self-funding portfolio of attractive private equity investments.
