Michael Berman
Partner - Head of Client Management
Michael is Head of Client Management for Stonehage Fleming Investment Management in London and Jersey and a member of the Group Investment Management Executive Committee. He joined the Group in 2003 as Client Relationship Manager and is responsible for the relationships of many of our large UK based families. As part of his role Michael chaired the Committee which set up family investment vehicles, including that of the founding family.
After graduating from the University of Cape Town, Michael joined the Appleton Group in South Africa, where he became Head of portfolio management. He moved to the UK in 1999 and joined the International Private Client team at Cazenove Fund Management, with overall responsibility for managing the South African client base. Michael is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (FCSI).
