Patrick Blackburn
CASS Compliance Director
Patrick is a Director of the Group in the Risk and Compliance team with overall responsibility for the Groups FCA obligations in respect of the FCA Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS). The CASS rules are designed to ensure client money and client assets are protected at all times.
He joined the Group in 2023 and has approximately 40 years’ experience in the investment industry as a Senior Operations Manager specialising in CASS, and has also worked as CASS consultant and investment trainer. He has worked for many firms including RBS/NatWest/Coutts and KPMG.
Patrick is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
